I’ve been seeing Dr. Boolbol for many years. I’ve been given many steroid injections epidural’s, all in the hope of keeping me off an operating table. He is very skillful at what he does. He deals with the facts and tells you the way it is. Doesn’t sugarcoat it, just says it the way it is. Now I appreciate that kind of approach some people do not. The man and his staff have helped me since about 2009. And I dread the day he retires.

Dr Boolol did an excellent job of eliminating my back pain. I have chronic arthritis in my lower back. The pain was severe and preventing me from enjoying many things. The doctor diagnosed me and prescribed a lower back procedure. He explained what he was going to do and talked to me throughout the procedure. The next day my back pain was completely gone. I recommend anyone with chronic pain see Dr Boolol for effective and compassionate treatment.

Dr. Boolbol made my mother cry! She's 67 and he scolded her like a child. He has a very condescending attitude. He doesn't listen to patients AT ALL! Why this quack chose to be a doctor is anyone's guess. He's an arrogant. AVOID this d-bag like the plague!

I have been seeing him for decades. I think he is a great doctor. I get injection procedures for pain management to avoid looking at the possibility of surgery.

An absolute horror show getting medical care from Dr. Boolbol ever since he left Pain and Spine Care Specialists in Trumbull back in the spring. New office in Waterbury (Amber) wont allow messages directly to doctors, doesn’t return phone calls, late in refilling prescriptions, basically everything a support staff should do. Switching doctors now which is a MAJOR INCONVENIENCE.. Too bad because he is a good doctor just bad staff and very poor logistics.

My cervical & spine pain started in 1985 and had two disc removed in 1987 by some doctor who I would never recommend, however Dr Boolbol was the only doctor to ever help me and I was seen by many. I would send anyone to him for pain relief. He is a great Doctor not just a good one.

Terrible! He’s with a “God Complex “ in that His ideas are the only correct ones. Insisted on an epidural which in notes said an evaluation was done after showing no issues- when in fact 10 minutes off table on 9/30/19 my sciatica right leg went numb Again! Then w/ allergic reaction to med, he refused to exchange. & discharges me instead. Spoke with office Mgr who I believe never informed him about my situation. PCPs nurse didn’t return medication which I contacted police who hadn’t come out until four days later. This made me w/o a file # therefore unable to show. I requested to speak w/ their medical director and told at HDs and would take a few days,( it’s been almost an entire month!) I was told by another provider they faxed police report, which wasn’t received. Plus in person again w/ office Mgr asking for our conversations in my records which were never offered nor Dr.’s notes to see if he was ever informed of my reporting issues with State of Ct Medical Board/unless fixable

The RN or APRN visits here are not pleasant— mostly combative. Only reason for 2-stars is Eli. This is an assembly line. They follow a script - no matter what and wouldn’t recognize you on the street. The entire office staff just sucks. Today was my 5th visit after tri-level cervical surgery and lumbar epidural injections (done by Dr. B). and level of care is getting worse. No-Zero—Zilch personal care-NONE!!

I have been going to this practice for several years, and have been very pleased with the care they have given me. I have had a few times trouble with getting meds after a surgery, but they have corrected that issue and my last surgery went great. I have had injections in both my back and neck and they helped at first then stopped working and so the doctor went over all my other options which I was glad they didn't just pursue other injections that they knew wouldn't help.

Very arrogant and rude to patients. He stated that he would “protect the practice at all costs” with no care for actual true medical care or advice. Asked about willingness to undergo back injections without any review of medical history or previous interventions that were tried. Did not review medical chart, have any knowledge of medications that were tried or current. Horrible bedside manner and actually laughed when a legitimate concern was brought up.

This doctor acts as though he’s better than anyone else. He acts like a know it all is loud obnoxious & uses profanities not at all how I think a professional should act. The office is way too b for staff that work there. Why have three windows when they don’t all get used? The line to check in goes out the door it’s not fun standing when ur in extreme pain, ridiculous!

Just left his office and was really unsure how it would go after reading reading mixed reviews but he was awesome. Really took his time to explain my injury and options. Way more so than any other dr in the 3 years dealing with this. Great staff as well.
