In my 1st review I accidentally gave high ‘stars’ to Dr.B. Fantastic staff all around. In this review I need to augment my current poor review. His assistant contacted me (she has been fantastic) because I had bulging discs Dr. B didn’t catch! A Harvard graduate cannot read an MRI? I think he gets great reviews as a surgeon. Maybe my GP should not have referred me to a surgeon. Perhaps the mistake was there and Dr.B thought I needed surgery. If so,i’m glad he said I did not. Benefit of doubt.

I met Dr. Beatty Tuesday for the first time, when I was sent to Dr. Beatty from the ER Doctor, I had seen for my lower back issue. Dr. Beatty was compassionate and understanding of the pain that I was having. He scheduled me for surgery the next week. Dr. Beatty showed me on a diagram what was causing my pain and how he was going to repair the damage. I also want to thank his Medical Assistant Arielle, for all of her help in getting all the necessary paperwork completed. Thanks Mark M.

I can't say enough how much I appreciate Dr Beatty. This is my second procedure where Dr Beatty has surgically repair my back. Each time he throughly explains what he will be doing, even drawing it out for me. He is personal and I trust him 100%. Along with Dr Beatty I have to give kudos to his assistant Arielle she communicates everything clearly and follows up as promised. If you are looking for a neurosurgeon I highly recommend Dr Beatty and staff.

Worst bedside manner ever. In fact, while nearly all other medical personnel I saw during my multi-day stay at the hospital were wonderful, in my opinion, he crossed the line from bad beside manner to unprofessional. Rude. Apathetic. Refused to answer questions. Condescending.

Dr. Beatty has performed 4 different procedures on me. I have been very pleased with Dr.Beatty and his support staff, They are excellent. They are always willing to help. I have been to his office many times, I admit that I am always early, and every visit I have seen Dr.Beatty ahead of my app. time. The surgical staff are terrific. One nurse on my 3/2/18 surgery said it best. Its a party when you are here, and its all about YOU the patient.. you will love this hospital..

Dr. Beatty gave me his undivided attention during my recent appointment. He made me feel that I was his only patient at that time and spent a lot of time going over my MRI explaining the findings so that I totally understood my condition. Dr. Beatty then discussed my options for care. I strongly recommend Dr. Beatty as a Neurosurgeon for my family and friends.

I was referred to Dr. Beatty by my regular Doctor. He was great to talk with and had me get some test done. The test showed i had alot of scar tissue that was the result of a surgery on l4-l5 wat back in 1987, He told me exactly what he was going to do and did just what he said he would. I have recommended several folks to see him, two had surgery one did not. He will not do surgery if he can't fix it.

Dr. Beatty leaves you hanging after surgery in pain. I've had four back surgeries all with Dr. Beatty, the first two were successful however he didn't assist with the post surgery pain. My third surgery didn't go so well, and after that surgery i was still in severe pain. Dr. Beatty did nothing to help me other than suggested another MRI. He found yet another disk fragment, and 8 weeks later I was having surgery again.. I would NOT recommend Dr. Beatty to anyone!

Loved him! I was referred to Dr Beatty, and very happy I was! He was very informative and spent a long time ensuring I understood my choices, even drawing a diagram on paper for me. He went over my MRIs with me so I could see exactly what he was talking about. He was very honest and didn't try to push me towards surgery. He thought maybe a rheumatologist could better help me, so he referret me on. Great bedside manner! I highly recommend him!

Dr. Beatty is the most amazing and gifted surgeon I have ever met--not only does he have a perfect knowledge of the back and brain, but he has a wonderful bedside manner/patient explanation of procedure. Dr. Beatty is a miracle worker. We are not going to have a neurosurgeon as gifted as Dr. Beatty for a long time! He gave me life!!
