I have been seeing Dr Allen for 9 years...he fixed my arm when other doctors said it was impossible...In my 62 years on this earth I have never had a doctor as amazing as Dr Allen...He truly cares about his patients, every one of us....I am so devastated and heartbroken over him leaving Novant, and not knowing where to find him, or if he's practicing someplace else...I would travel anywhere to see him....I wish him well and the best of everything wherever he is...

Dr Allen is a professional, experienced, compassionate, informative, and life-saving surgeon. 7 years ago, Dr Allen saved my husband's life (Aortic Dissection) and has followed his recovery ever since. Dr Allen is "one of a kind" and we will follow him wherever he practices medicine. Please post Dr Allen's location of practice.

Dr. Allen is amazing!! He saved my son's life. We were referred to him and transferred from another hospital late at night. I will never forget seeing him come down the hallway of the hospital after I had followed the ambulance in the middle of a storm in a town that I am not familiar with. I had no idea that he would be at the hospital to meet us. He was our calm in that storm (literally). All of the nurses told me how lucky we were to have him treating my son and they were right!!
