Dr. Rick Meyer is a native of Warren, Mich. He is a summa cum laude graduate of Olivet College in Olivet, Mich., and a 1986 graduate of Wayne State University School of Medicine. Dr. Meyer completed his residency in Internal Medicine in 1989 at Sinai Hospital in Detroit, Mich. Dr. Meyer completed his Fellowship in Gastroenterology at Beaumont, Royal Oak, Mich., and completed a Fellowship in Clinical Hepatology at the Oregon Health & Science University in Portland. Upon completion of his Fellowships, Dr. Meyer became a full staff member at Cleveland Clinic Foundation where he served until July 1995, then joined G.I. Consultants. Dr. Meyer has authored and co-authored numerous published abstracts and articles on hepatobiliary disease and is a Diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
