The doctor is very good and knowledgeable very friendly happy to answer questions unfortunately the staff is very rude and disrespectful so you have to deal with them before you even get to see a doctor.

I met with Dr. Balestra virtually to discuss the viability of the Zephyr value. He reviewed all my med8ical records prior to my appointment since he obviously knew my situation. He answered all my questions and thoroughly explained his recommendations to me. I do not live in the Portland area and but if I ever move I hope he accepts new patients.

Due to COVID restrictions, it was a video conference. The thoroughness of his explanation and his honesty about whether the procedure would be beneficial was extremely appreciated. It made the decision so much more comfortable to make. The only issue was the extremely long wait time after being checked in for the video call ... with no one checking back. Waited on hold for over 45 minutes.

Dr. Balestra was incredibly patient even when I started yammering about my breathing problems. More importantly, rather than make the diagnosis himself, he shared it completely during a conference call with other top rated physicians. I have been struggling with this condition for 2 years with no improvement. Dr. Balestra came up with a course of treatment that gives me some hope. I am extremely grateful to the Oregon Clinic for letting him spend as much time on my case. Also a special shoutout to April for making a blood draw so painless.

Dr. Balestra had taken the time to look at my history prior to our meeting so that I didn't have to fill him in and we could talk about my current symptoms.
