Dr. Wurtz's Care Philosophy
I enjoy helping my patients become healthy and stay healthy and cherish the ability to play a part in the entire family's health care. I have degrees of added expertise in Natural Family Planning Medical Consulting, diabetes care and medical quality. I am an active member of the Catholic Medical Association and am pro-life. I do not prescribe or refer for artificial birth control, abortions, or sterilizations. I practice the full scope of primary care and can take care of other concerns. I enjoy doing prenatal care, delivering babies and taking care of children. I also enjoy treating hormonal/menstrual problems while cooperating with the natural hormones of the menstrual cycle. I believe in promoting the general well-being of patients through goal-oriented lifestyle choices. The doctor-patient relationship must work as a team, creating a care plan for each individual. I believe this is done through appropriate education and treating the whole person rather than the disease process.
