He received his medical degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. Dr. Ursone completed his internship and residency at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas where he invested 9 years providing orthopaedic care to our injured soldiers. Dr. Ursone is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Ursone has a special interest in partial knee replacement, arthritis of the knee and hip, and arthroscopic reconstruction of the shoulder and knee. Dr. Ursone was named to SA Scene's list of SA Doctors: Best of 2017. He was also named a 2016 Top Performer by MedStatix for outstanding patient satisfaction scores."

Top-notch professional. Dr Ursone always has a calm and helpful manner and he truly provides excellent care. He recently performed my full knee replacement and I’m very, very happy with the results ... and I’m 86 years old. I whole-heartedly recommend Dr Ursone to everyone I meet.

Dr. Ursone is an amazing provider and I will continue recommending him. He listens and allows you to explain what you are feeling and are worried about. A SLAP repair was done in March 2018 and it healed nicely. Dr. Ursone treats his patients with respect and in a caring manner.
