Excellent. Dr. Stovall is a highly sought-after neurosurgeon because of his keen attention to detail, ability to effectively communicate w/patients as partners (he drew on my MRI printout to demonstrate the procedure proposed & explained each step in detail), and extraordinary neurosurgery skills. Through OUTPATIENT surgery, Dr. Stovall resolved mobility impairment, numbness & pain because of L4-5 degen disc & assoc spondylosis. Thank you Dr. Stovall for sharing your talents and improving lives!

I had cervical surgery in July 2015. It was very successful. Whereas I had been told by several previous surgeons that my entire neck would need to be fused, Dr. Stovall recommended a more conservative approach that did not require an entire fusion. I had two previous fusions in my neck. Today I am pain free and still have full range of motion in my neck. He was always very caring and listened to my concerns. I would highly recommend him.

Dr Stovall, performed my brain surgery 2013,I could not have asked for better care then what he provided me.Since my appt 6 weeks after surgery,I have not seen him,or spoke to him.I was informed an Mri was to be done annually.I have never had a return call to make an appt for MRI follow up,I have taken it upon myself and my med Dr to get me an appt for MRI,the past two years. Two weeks ago I called his office, left on hold each time for 10,9,11,mins with no results.Disappointed!

I am a 63 year old man who had lower back pain that radiated down the back of both legs and even had numbness of my buttocks occasionally. Dr. Stovall determined that I had spondylolisthesis with spinal stenosis at the L4 & L5 area and recommended a laminectomy. He performed the surgery on October 5, 2015 and I couldn't be happier. I went from taking lots of ibupropen each day to cope with the pain to being virtually pain free. I highly recommend Dr. Stovall!
