Don't see hand surgeon unless you want surgery. Have had carpal tunnel wanted an evaluation but all I was told is my boobs are too big and I need a new bra!!! Nothing scientific about that (ps.. sorry, I'm positive it's not related). And housewives get more carpal tunnel than people who do repetitive jobs and typing can't cause CTS. ?!! What's a "housewife" ? This isn't 1970.

Dr Singer is very approachable & kind. He came highly recommended from my friends who work with him. His dressing was quite large but I told him it did it's job- it kept me from using that hand!! He is genuinely concerned that I have a great outcome.

Dr. Singer is a great surgeon, doctor and person. How can he only have 4 stars in these ratings? Years ago he pinned a broken pinky finger for me, and this year he is helping with my broken wrist (surgery to put in a plate, screws and pins & casting & next year a surgery to remove the hardware). Super smart, no beating around the bush about what I need to do, but kind about it. Nurses I've met (they see my cast) say they would have Dr. Singer do their wrist/hand surgery if they needed it.

I cannot stress how competent and caring Dr Singer has been in my ongoing care.
in Windsor, ON |
Dr. Singer quite simply is in a class of his own. To be this dedicated to his craft at this stage of his life and career is testament to the attention and detail he gives to every patient. I wish I would have met him before I let another Dr. operate on my wrist, only to have Dr. SInger redo the procedure and correct what was initially wrong with it. Great person and Doctor!!

He cares about you as a person and a patient. He's an advisor, caring, interested friend first, a Physician second, and a Hand surgeon Third. And he's darn good surgeon, as is evidenced by his repeated listing in Detroit's top docs. He clearly communicates your situation - straight...not sugar coated, but always delivered with care and a focus on getting YOU the best possible outcome. Unlike others He's NOT going through the paces, he's understanding, thinking and communicating. Love Him!
in Taylor, MI |
Dr. Singer was very personable and explained why and what he was going to do prior to doing it. He outlined my condition and explained all the possible options. I would definitely, enthusiastically recommend anyone who needed to see an experienced, well qualified hand surgeon!
in Rockwood, MI |
Dr. Singer is a very conscientious physician. He spent alot of time with me. I also was told by my workmen's comp Dr not to consider any other surgeon to do surgery on my hand except Dr. Singer. He was very knowledgeable about my overall health and how it can aggravate joint issues. He made me feel at ease about the surgery I needed and his aftercare was very compassionate and reassuring. I would highly recommend Dr. Singer to anyone I may find who is in need of a hand surgeon.
in Northville, MI |
He is a very smart, friendly, and down to earth person. Waiting time to get in was at least an hour each time because he has many patients to see. He is very personal and caring about his patients. I recommend him.

Very nice guy and very helpful
in Rockwood, MI |
He is fantastic, very informative and caring. He operated on me and explained everything I needed to know. I felt extremely confident in his ability to correct my issue through surgery.
in Detroit, MI |
I had an extra tendon in my wrist that affected my thumb after I snapped it. During the surgery he found there were actually 3 extra tendons instead of one. My surgery was done on 12/17/15, I did my own PT at home and as of 01/27/16 my wrist is fully functional with a scar that is almost invisible. He is Da Man! Ikr!

Dr. Singer is a no holds bar doctor. He will tell you like it is but is compassionate for his patients. He is far superior to other doctors in his field. I had a fracture of the wrist that was missed diagnosed which would have left me crippled and I would not have been able to return to work if not for him. I would highly recommend him and would not want to go any else. If you are ever in need of a hand surgeon/specialist this is the man for you.

Dr. Singer is very friendly and easygoing. His professional manner and knowledge inspires confidence, and his explanation of my surgery and follow-up treatment was thorough and easy to understand.
