I was nervous about my knee since nothing helped. Spent 2 minutes with me to tell me I have extensive damage (really?!), and did in 2 months he'd try injection and take it from there. He was on his cell a lot of the time. Not recommending him.

So after waiting for over 2 and a half hours, for my initial consultation with Dr Seldes, I went to the nurse and told her that I would be leaving, and had no more time to be wasted. That sent them temporarily into a tizzy...the doc ran after me....kinda sorta attempted an apology...and three hours later, he had seen my knee ( I all ready knew what was wrong), and I scheduled an operation with him Cut to this week.....have waited almost 6 weeks for operation.....cancelled an entire week of work......wife re arranged schedule so she could pick me up from hospital..take care of me....etc...and yup...you guessed it......at 3 pm Monday afternoon, barely 16 hrs prior to my Tues morning scheduled surgery...the doctor had his office secretary call me and cancel. Let me cut to the chase...took the doctor DAYS to even call me back, and the only reason this unprofessional doctor even bothered to call...is because I sent him and invoice, billing him for my lost wages this week. More to follow

Great doctor and specialist. I was at four orthopedists, and dr Seldes was the first one who coped with my husband. He paid attention, looked at everything, prescribed treatment. Six months later, I'll make an appointment with him again. Very pleased with the doctor

I appreciate Dr. Richard Seldes for being thorough with the examination of my Son’s injury. He had a fall, and it was later found out that he had a torn ligament in the hip joint. He had a surgery of the hip, and his recovery was great

My knees are very fragile. I played football in the past and I didn't get far because I got both my knees injured a number of times. They were starting to cause trouble so many years later, but with proper treatment from Dr. Richard Seldes I can walk and run and jump around freely. Thanks a lot! Strongly recommend his services

Dr Seldes did a hip arthroscopy on my hip and I feel great. I am a professional dancer and I couldn't do routines anymore because I tore the labrum in my hip. After Dr. Seldes repaired my labrum I started dancing after a few months of therapy and now I am dancing professionally again! I am so grateful to him. I give him the highest recommendation possible.

Dr Seldes performed total hip replacement on my mother. He took the time to answer all of our questions (we ad a lot of them) and he made us feel at ease. My mother was in so much pain before surgery and could barely walk. After her surgery she had no pain and is able to do ballroom dancing which was a passion of hers that she had to give up prior to surgery. Before the surgery she was depressed and now she is her happy self again. I can't thank Dr. Seldes enough! He is an exceptionally skilled surgeon and a nice man who cares deeply about his patients. He told me that he was going to treat my mom as if she were his mom. He is a gem. I have recommended him to several of my friends and coworkers.

Dr. Seldes performed arthroscopic surgery on my hip. I hurt it in a car accident and I couldn't sit or stand, let alone run or go to the gym. I saw 3 doctors before I saw Dr Seldes and each one of them said there was nothing that could be done. Dr. Seldes diagnosed me with a torn hip labrum and impingement and performed the surgery. There was minimal pain after the surgery and now I have absolutely no pain in my hip. He REALLY gave me my life back. I can't thank him and his staff enough.

I was having shoulder pain for years and from an old car accident and it got to the point where I couldn’t move my shoulder or sleep at night. I saw Dr. Seldes and he was nice and confidently explained my problem and gave me my options. I liked the fact that he didn’t push surgery right away. We started with therapy and an injection which help me for about 6 months then the pain came back. I then had surgery by Dr. Seldes and the pain went away completely. His staff is very friendly.

I went to Dr. Seldes for pain in my shoulder. I was very worried that I would need surgery but he said it was a slight labrum tear and that with physical therapy I would most likely not need surgery. He was very nice and answered all my questions. I didn't feel rushed. I like the fact that he didn't want to rush to operate and wanted me to try other alternatives first. He recommended a great physical therapy place and I am feeling a lot better. Excellent doctor!

I agree with the reviews below this IS a patient mill. Wait forever to wind up seeing a PA instead of the doctor. I would not have minded if I knew that in advance and if I hadn't waited for almost 2 hours ! Staff member was rude and addressed extensive wait time by telling patients "If you have something to say,say it to the doctor" I thought that was a very inappropriate way to handle the matter especially since nobody was actually complaining just inquiring about wait time. NOT going back.

Would not recommend Dr Seldes to anyone. I banged my leg and it was terribly black and blue. I was there for a knee consultation asked the doctor if he could also assess my leg. He said "stand on that one leg" then he said "hop up and down" and then he said "it's not broken" before walking away. How condescending! And then he charges my insurance company for a surgery that he did not perform.

I have had two negative experiences with Dr. Seldes. At my first visit he spent less than 5 minutes with me, barely looking at my leg, and informed me that I would probably never regain full range of motion (contrary to what my PT and surgeon had told me). Let's just say his bedside manner leaves something to be desired. He then proceeded to write a PT prescription for the wrong leg. At my last visit, he didn't even bother looking at my injured leg. Very low quality care at this practice.

This practice is a mill. Coming to this office is like a trip to the DMV -- with (slighty) nicer waiting room furniture. I spent an hour waiting for 6 minutes with the doctor who interacted with me as thought he was double parked outside the building. Left office with no faith that this person or this practice would help me alleviate the pain that brought me here.
