I cannot say enough good things about this man. There is no one who I would trust more with my neurovascular health and the health of my family and friends. I would recommend him 1000 times over.
Samantha - Thank you for the review and for your recommendation of Dr. Rowe. He will be grateful that you took the time to share your experience!

Dr. Rowe is the best! There are no words to describe how much I appreciate him. He saved my son's ability to walk after his car accident. I was told by a friend to request him as his neurosurgeon after the accident. He was given very little chance to ever walk again. Dr. Rowe did surgery and he was sent to Shepherd's where he was rehabilitated. He is now able to walk and is back in college!
Wow! GNI is thankful that your son is back on track! I will share this review with Dr. Rowe; I know he will be grateful for the wonderful endorsement but even more grateful to hear how well one of his patients is doing. Jean Peterson, GNI Community Relations Director

We are still in the hospital, post tumor removal. We cannot say enough good things about Dr. Rowe! He was extremely competent. If we had to have an 8+ hour long surgery with my husbands brain open, Dr. Rowe is the man I want in there! Amazing job with a difficulty situation.

If you make an appointment, clear your day and wear a smile because the staff needs to lighten up.
I was a patient of Dr. Rowe for three different surgeries. He had to repair what 2 other Macon surgeon's (from another office) had messed up. He is more than capable and has always given us the utmost respect. All he asks us that you follow his orders after surgery. Those who don't will hear about it later I am sure. If Dr. Rowe were to leave Macon and I needed surgery I would follow him wherever he went!
Dr. Rowe has been my neurosurgeon since 2010. He's performed two brain surgeries so far (2010 & 2011) and has been great so far. The only complaint I have is during my brain surgery in 2011, I lost all my blood and they had to do a total blood transfusion and you would think that he would have told my mom about that but didn't! She found out from the nurse after the fact!
While his skill as a surgeon seemed to be competent, his beside manner and communication was abysmal. After almost a year of treatment, I was subject to disrespect by dr. Rowe and some of his staff. You will be treated like a subject and not a customer. Never had less than an hour wait past appointment times. Also had several appointments cancelled within minutes if actual appointment. This is after a 2 hour car ride and a day of lost wages due to taking off of work for appointment. 3x
