I had to have both hips replaced due to perthes. I'm 4mo out from (R), and 30days out from (L). I'm 33y/o. I'm walking without a cane and begin my outpatient rehab in a week. Been seeing Dr Roberts since I was 23. With his consultation we put off the replacements as long as I could physically & mentally stand it. Dr Roberts always had my best interest in mind, and was very thorough with me throughout my 10yrs seeing him. Very thankful for Dr Roberts!

This wonderful doctor has been in my life for decades, treating various areas of the aging body. I wouldn't want to be treated by any other orthopedic physician, as he is simply the best!!! He is kind, an excellent listener, experienced and quite knowledgeable about our bodies. Please do give him a try, you will NOT be disappointed!

We took our adult son with Down Syndrome to Dr Roberts to evaluate his scoliosis. Dr Roberts and all the staff we encountered were patient and included our son in the conversation. Dr Roberts asked for the X-rays hour son had when he was younger and took new ones. Very thorough and the visit was stress free for our son. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Roberts!

When my primary doctor, a back surgeon and a physical therapist would not listen to me, I sought and found someone who would, Dr. R. Mills Roberts. He listened to what I had to say, examined me and gave me the treatment I needed, which did not include back surgery that had been recommended by the surgeon on my first (and only visit). That was three years ago and have been so thankful I found someone who will actually listen to what you have to say.

I recently had my third surgery with Dr Roberts in the last 6 years; two torn meniscus & a shattered wrist. He & his staff are incredible. They are all so friendly, professional & make you feel you are in good hands. After my last surgery (laparoscopic), I was walking without crutches 3 days later! I highly, highly recommend Dr. Richard Mills Roberts!

Dr. Roberts was my third option for knee replacement. X-rays show that I am still not a candidate and he recommended gel injections. They are working wonders. I am very pleased with his practice and the ability to relieve my pain and let me enjoy my activities.

I love Arlington Orthopedics! Dr. Roberts and his staff are amazing. I shattered my wrist (1st visit) and then broke my elbow (2nd visit). I have full range of motion in both due to my exceptional doctor and care. I recently ran the Venice Marathon and had knee pain after the run. Dr. Roberts, Danny and Rachel have made the knee pain feel so much better. I was not crazy about getting shots in the knee but their expertise made it not so bad. His nurse Kelly is very special and caring.

I first saw Dr. Roberts in 1998. He has not only performed 3 separate knee surgeries (1 being experimental which has held up nicely -I just have really bad original equipment) as well as a wrist surgery that completely resolved my issues, but he has also treated several of my family members including my late mother-in-law a few years ago. She had fallen and broken her wrist and hip and he did both surgeries at the same time. I trust him with mine and my families lives. Best bedside manner!

I've been seeing Dr. Roberts for about 7 years now for knee injury and associated knee pain. He has been treating me with injections that relieve the pain. My primary care physician had referred me to Dr. Roberts originally thinking I would need knee replacement surgery, but Dr. Roberts prescribed injections to prolong the life of my "original equipment" while relieving the pain. His concern and advice as well as clearly defining my options for a treatment plan are why I highly recommend him.

I am now treating Dr. Roberts now due to a bad experience with Dr. Adam Crawford and his MA. Both doctors are at the same practice but my experience has changed for the better. Dr. Roberts is thorough, his MA Kelly is the greatest. She's very responsive unlike my experience with MA Monica with Dr. Crawford. All of the staff in his office are very pleasant. Dr. Roberts has put me on a conservative treatment plan which is working very well means that surgery is the last resort not first. I'm happy

I had hip replacement surgery with Dr.Roberts in July 2015. I was up walking the night of surgery and in much less pain then I had been dealing with. He explained what would happen with the operation and what recovery would be like. I now have problems with my other hip and will not hesitate to have it replaced also. He has given me an active life back
