Dr. Pleak is a knowledgeable and caring clinician who takes a tremendous amount of time caring for my transgender child. He continuously seeks parental input and is respectful of boundaries with each issue presented. I highly recommend him as a health care provider.

One time he fell of his chair in session. I was misguided and misdiagnosed as transgender by this psychiatrist. My childhood was never properly evaluated, he never asked to meet my parents or other family members. I was too confused back then to ask for a second opinion and thought the psychiatrist was "right". I lost 15 years of womanhood because of his and the other professionals who are too quick to provide hormones and surgical procedures and push the transgender diagnosis.
