About 20 years or so ago I was diagnosed with degenerative discs and was in a lot of pain. Advised by Dr Issac at Duke university I sought out pain management and found Dr Park in Monroe. I have Lang since moved and only because of him I wish I hadn’t. He is a very caring doctor and he actually explained everything he was doing to help my pain. Since then I have been treated by a few other doctors and just haven’t found one like him. He is very good and I would completely recommend him and staff. Thank you Doctor Park! I will always remember you!

My back surgeon had released me to my PCP following lumbar fusion surgery for chronic spondilolysthesis, sciatica, and peripheral neuropathy in my left leg. He "handed the baton" for managing my pain meds. to her, and she did so for the past 3 years. She told me that "new government regulations" would eventually prevent her from continuing to do so, and that she would have to refer me to a pain mgmt. clinic. I was anxious because I'd heard mixed reviews from patients; some stated that they were "denied the meds that they needed for chronic pain". She assured me that my medical record, diagnoses, and previous tests and surgeries would be thoroughly reviewed and seriously considered. I found Dr. Park and his nurse, Marla, very thorough, understanding, reasonable, and straight-forward in my initial interview. Knowing my PCP, Dr. Park agreed with and trusted her current med. mgmt. plan for the past 3 years, and made only a slight med. adjustment. I was both thrilled and relieved!!

Waited 1.5 hours and saw Dr. for 10 minutes. Did not really listen to my history. Was of no help and did not show any compassion. Would not recommend this MD.

My experience here was very positive. The office staff were all very polite and professional. I felt my PA (Anna) and Dr. Park listened to me and answered all of my questions and came up with a treatment plan that should alleviate my constant pain. I did not have to wait long and I’m new to the area but don’t think I could have found a better doctor. Thank you all. Ric. S

I never get to see him, only if I have a flair up or a procedure. I always see PA's. Some of them are good and some aren't. They change your meds that treat pain or muscle spasms for no reason. Dr. Parks practice, use's codes on your bill as if they are a surgical outpatient facility. I got a simple trigger point injection in the buttocks, I was charged over $300. They use their office as a Surgical Outpatient Clinic (your never told this) and charge you like you used a hospital facility. Awful!

Charlotte, NC – Feb 12, 2019
Beware the cost of treatment here. Usual bill from Dr. and Facilities is over 10 thousand dollars. You can expect easily 15 thousand dollars. The treatment is not worth the cost. They charge you for surgery for a 15 minute in-office treatment. I would never go back after getting my bill. Took 3 months to get an appointment.

Dr. Park is awesome! He is the only pain management doc that has helped me! Very knowledgeable, professional and understanding. He also listens. He was my last hope for quality of life. I can’t believe how much he has helped me. I was literally moving my body all over the place after he was done treating me. The staff members are very friendly and courteous. I’m so glad I found Dr. Park. Knows what he is doing. He is Gifted at this. I’ve been to several pain doctors with no relief.

Once Dr. Park says "you`re cured" then that`s it. Forget the facts and forget the MRI readings as this guy knows all. Difficult man to deal with and a poor disposition.

If I could take away stars I would. Calls to his office were returned by a rude nurse who never once listened to what I was saying, suggested an arbitrary cookie-cutter remedy that would not take care of the problem. All I was looking for was a professional and empathetic physician; what I found was neglectful incompetence. Never once were my 3 calls returned by the doctor, I'd rather be treated by a vet than endure this man's neglectful malpractice again!
