As a pediatric gastroenterologist I see infants children and adolescents with a wide range of problems affecting the gastrointestinal (GI) tract. I appreciate that chronic GI problems can place a significant burden on the growth school participation and self-esteem of a child. My goal is to do everything possible for that child to maintain full participation across all aspects of life. My particular areas of interest include upper GI tract disease eosinophilic diseases of the GI tract and pediatric feeding disorders. Members of our division along with our surgical and medical partners at Duke University Medical Center provide care for children with problems across the entire spectrum of our field. Our providers participate in national networks and routinely update treatment plans to reflect the latest knowledge in the field. With choices available in healthcare I hope that you consider me and my colleagues as care providers for your child.
