Dr. Muench completed his internal medicine internship at State University of New York and an anesthesiology residency at the University of South Carolina and University of Alabama at Birmingham. Dr. Muench completed a pain management fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Dr. Muench has served as President of the Greater Atlanta Society of Anesthesiologists and is a member of the North American Neuromodulation Society. Dr. Muench is a Diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology with specialty certifications in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine.
