I’ve been seeing Dr.Lautzenheiser for quite a few years, and he has done a fantastic job of keeping my arthritis under control. Not only do I consider him a great doctor, but also a good friend. If it had not been for him, I’ Pretty sure I would be crippled today.

Dr Lautzenheiser is one of the most caring and professionally adept doctors I have ever seen. On my first visit to him I commented that I wasn’t certain that a rheumatologist was who I should be seeing for my condition. His reply was if he could not help me himself he would find someone who could. Fortunately he was the perfect specialist for me.

This is one doctor, Dr Lautzenheiser that I really look forward to my appointments. He is very thorough and understanding and gives excellent medical advice and his nurses are fantastic. I wouldn’t be able to function or move without his assistance, and to top it all off he has a sense or humor and puts you at ease and explains everything so you have a great understanding before you leave your appointment. Another plus if lab work is needed his facility has that also they get you right in & out.

I have been a patient of Rheumatology Associates since the early 1980's. I have found the staff to be friendly and courteous and see that prescription refills or the scheduling of tests is done in a timely manner. The medical care has been done with attentiveness and my questions answered in a way that I can understand. My physician, Dr. Richard Lautzenheiser, has shown an interest in me and my life, and not just my medical challenges. I have been very satisfied and recommend this practice.

Dr. L is one of the friendliest, most thorough doctors I've ever had. He was determined to find the correct treatment for me and because of that determination I have been virtually pain free (less a few instances due to weather and over working) for the past 6-7 years. He actually cares about the well being of the patient, not just the numbers. If he ever retires, I will be incredibly upset becuase I feel no one else will take care of me the way he does.

Dr. Lautzenheiser provides semi-annual examinations for me. With most all visits, I am greeted by the nurse and seen by the doctor within minutes of my appointment time. He is very thorough - from the physical observations to the detailed examination of test results and tending with adjustments to my ongoing treatment. He is very sensitive to medical and prescription costs always willing to look for cost-saving options. Very compassionate and highly professional!
