The nurse NICOLE was RUDE and confrontational! Chastising us so loudly with zero provocation because we brought 2 people to the appointment with my 90 year old mother in law. Then when we asked how long we be waiting (it was already 30 minutes past our appt time) she went on another tangent! When I pushed back at her RUDE attitude and told her to she was acting very aggressively she changed her tune pretty quickly. Then I went on the internet to see reviews on this office and BOOM, Nicole was on reviews of Katz’s office many times as being RUDE! She needs a total manners class! Why would Dr. Katz deal with this? There are a million orthopedic surgeons in this area! With all nice people! All the other staff in the office were super nice.

1st I want to thank Doc Katz entire staff, they were GREAT! My name is Kurt and I was in a very bad motorcycle accident Oct 6, 2019. I tore up the left side of my body, broken ankle, torn meniscus, broken arm, and blew my shoulder out. Doc Katz sent me to Doc Mijic a shoulder specialist for a total replacement Jan 02, I am still healing but things are good. Doc Katz put 3 screws in my ankle, repaired the meniscus and cleaned out the knee cap. The arm was a different story, it was an open fracture just about the wrist and it was filthy with dirt from my crash. Doc Katz cleaned it out as best as possible but told me if it gets infected it may need to be amputated. I had an external brace until Dec 26, 2019 about 80 days. Doc Katz did a GREAT job on my arm and so thankful I have full use of everything. I am so glad he was working that evening. A GREAT DOCTOR and GREAT STAFF!!! Thank you very much!!!

The team at Dr Katz's office is unbeatable. They are organized and efficient and knowledgeable. The same can be said of the extended staff on the orthopedic ward at Bayonet Point Hospital and the in home and outpatient physical therapy crew. As with most orthopods, it's mostly all business; after all they are a serious bunch with a serious mission but everyone including Dr Katz is always pleasant and ready to answer any questions you may have. I had a lot of great recommendations to "go see" Dr Katz before I became his patient and they all turned out to be right. My surgery went flawlessly and I recovered very quickly. What more could you want?

I had been a patient with Dr. Katz for 20 years!! He has replaced 5 - yes 5 of my body parts. Unfortunetly this year I had to cancel 3 appts. due to uncontrolable circumstances. 1-death in immediate family, 1-I was deathly ill & the office told ME NOT TO COME IN & 1-I had an extremely servere R.A. flare up & could barely move let alone drive. He will NO LONGER SEE ME/BE MY ORTHO because of these uncontrolable circumstances!!! His bedside manner stinks & you won't see him afer surgery, only at your follow up appt.!

Had two appointments with Dr. Katz. He was very empathetic and gave my knee an exam. Finally a doctor who touched my knee. He ordered an MRI and next day saw me. He discussed my results, answered all my questions so I understood. His staff is always moving, I have observed nothing but smiles and politeness. Very courteous. Thank you all for making my days in your office less worrisome and very comfortable.

I had a total knee replacement 12 weeks ago today. I am doing 90% of what I was doing before all the knee pain. I thought Dr Katz was great. I felt comfortable asking questions, and he had an answer to everything. I brag about him to everyone. I would highly recommend him for any knee surgery. Although he does a lot of other things. I would definitely go back if my other knee gives out.

My mom fell and broke her hip. Dr. Katz did surgery. My mom then went to rehab center. 2 weeks later, had a follow-up appt with Katz. Paid $76 to have a med van pick my mom up and deliver her to Katz' office. While waiting the hour in his waiting room, she had an 'accident' in her Depend. Katz said he would not see her because they didn't have the 'capability there of cleaning her up'. I told them I would but that wasn't good enough. There was no mess and I'm not even sure it was enough to even be concerned about but he would NOT see her. Therefore, I am done with him. My mom was in extreme agony and after the transportation there and getting her into the office for the appt, he was not going to budge. He would NOT see her. BUT he wanted to see her in another 4 weeks!!! LOL. I just took care of that. Cancelled appt and he won't see us again. BUT, THE OFFICE MANAGER, NICOLE? SHE IS WICKED. HOW KATZ CAN PUT UP WITH HER, SAYS ALOT ABOUT HIS CHARACTER. SHE IS A HORRIBLE
