Dr Kasden saved my life He didn't mess around and diagnose me with Guillan Barre. I spent 6 days in hospital. I was lucky because I was able to get treated before it became worse He is very knowledgeable
Bethel Park, PA |
This is the worst doctor I have ever been to. His rudeness is has bad as the other reviews. He was extremely insensitive and not knowledgeable as to what was going on. I heard his dictation about me, which he did right outside the room, I could not believe what I was hearing. While I was waiting, I messaged my PCP, who had recommended him. Then I calmed down thinking I must have heard him wrong...until I got a copy of his report. This man has no business practicing!
Bethel Park, PA |
Found him to be dismissive of my symptoms. Attributed my issues to be 'normal" for my age (I was 59)

WORST DOCTOR EVER!!! No bedside manner! He did not listen to my medical concerns! Was very rude and disrespectful when going over my accident! If I could give a 0 for the 1-5 scale, many of the 1s would be a zero! I highly recommend that you see someone else!
Murrysville, PA |
The rudest, most uncaring doctor I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with!
in McKeesport, PA |
Very rude, impatient, snide and crass. His Jefferson Hospital office staff even apologized for his ignorance. Will never go back to him and never recommend him to anyone.
in Mc Keesport, PA |
Found dr kasdan to be rude and uncaring no bedside manners acts like your wasting his time doesn't say nice things about other dr's you went to practice went downhill when dr weissman retired won't return or recommend!
in Kittanning, PA |
Been a patient of Dr. Kasdan since 2008, he was my third neurologist and was the only neurologist that ordered the brain/neck/spine and diognoised me the same day. His staff has been very beneficial in helping me with medications Rebif/Tysabri/Gilenya over a period of nine years. I have referred him to four other patients. His staff and him have a busy schedule so be patient. He can be short but is, in my opinion the best in the East Coast. I travel five hours to see him. Best of luck to you all
Pittsburgh, PA |
World class neurologist with an excellent bedside manner. His care has been impeccable and I would recommend him to anyone with a neurological problem who is seeking a straightforward, honest approach to their disease management. His nurse is a wonderful asset to the practice. She is extremely knowledgeable and caring. Please disregard the poor ratings given by others. Most often, the patients who are dissatisfied have secondary gain issues and too often the satisfied patients remain quiet.

Dr. Kasdan is a no nonsense doctor who was very helpful to me and my condition. His staff was also very friendly and helpful.
in Pittsburgh, PA |
I loved Dr. Kasdan. He listened carefully, we got straight to treatment options and he did an MRI right on site and went over the results with me right away while we both looked at the images. His nurse leaves something to be desired.
in Monessen, PA |
Does not listen, is rude and thinks a pill is the cure all. Don't waste your time and effort. Reprimanded my spouse for attempting to provide relevant medical information I had forgotten.
in West Mifflin, PA |
I would not recommend Dr Kasdan. I asked to see a neurologist for a concussion i sustained at work . What i got was rudeness from his nurse and then belittlement from Dr Kasdan who also also beliittled a fellow Doctor ..Saying he was not competent to diagnose me...A Dr Okonkwo . A Neuro surgeon who is head of Concussion program at UPMC presby.. Dr Kasdans Examination of me was poor at best. He made no real attempt to help me. I will make sure i see A real neurologist. One who actually cares.
