Dr. Johnston preformed several surgeries on me after a workman's comp injury. I could not have found a better doctor. He is one of the finest and kindest Doctors I have ever encountered. From the second I meet him I knew I was in good hands and never worried about any procedure I would be facing.

I am a 66 year old "ex jock" and remain physically active. I have seen Dr Johnston and his PA Stephanie periodically for knee and shoulder issues over the past 15 or more years. I have found both to be precise in their diagnosis, a straight shooter, and Dr. J is an exceptional orthopedic surgeon. He performed a complete rotator cuff repair surgery on me in August 2013. I was back to full strength thanks to Dr J and Stephanie's skills and the OrthoAtlanta physical therapy group.

He’s done my right shoulder and right knee. He’s also done my two friends’ shoulders. And everything he touches turns golden. Highly recommend this physician.

First time patient. Went in for possible broken leg. Turned out to just be a bad ankle sprain. In and out in under 90 minutes including initial paperwork and x-rays. Dr Johnston was very personable and knowledgeable. Office operates very efficiently and staff was very friendly.

Dr. Johnston is not only extremely knowledgeable, he is caring. He spends time with his patients and explains what to expect. He is conservative in his treatment and puts the patient's well being first.

I came in with right shoulder pain which I have been having for awhile. I was giving an xray and Dr Johnston came in and explain my situation and diagnosis in a fashion that I could understand and knew exactly what needed to be done. After my treatment, I feel 100% better. He was very professional and friendly where I did not feel uncomfortable with him. I must say this is rare for me to feel comfortable with a doctor. I would definitely recommend Dr. Johnston to others.

I explained to him that I was in severe pain, he ordered X-rays of my knees and shoulder. He said he didn't see anything wrong with my knees and my shoulder will need to be replaced. He also said he could inject one knee and my shoulder. Neither injection did any good at all. When he injected my knee he could see swelling on the ultrasound. I asked for an off work slip, and he informed me that he did not issue off work slips. I went through 4 weeks of swelling in my knee ..would not recommend

Excellent. Dr. Johnson was very professional, listened to my concerns, and very attentive. OrthoAtlanta has a nice facility, updated equipment and Dr. Johnson explained the X-ray results that was easy to understand. Explained well what next steps should be.
