Abdominalplasty
I had my abdominalplasty 6 weeks ago on August 2nd. Dr Hess did an amazing job! I’m very active, I workout 5 days a week but I could never get rid of my midsection and I was getting frustrated with how my clothes fit and how I looked despite my efforts. Finally I decided to look into elective surgery for it. Dr Hess educated me on exactly what the surgery entails and the expected results. I can say the results are night and day, absolutely amazing! I’m 44 years old and I am so excited that I get to enjoy my results for a long time! No amount of ab workouts would have gotten these results! Dr Hess is such a nice man as well as Dr Sandeen who did one of my follow ups. I highly recommend this practice if you are considering this life altering surgery.

Professional and great results
I had a breast lift and tummy tuck in Nov, 2022. Obesity in my youth and a pregnancy took their toll. Dr Hess was professional, answered all of my questions and my outcome was better than I expected. I knew I could always call and that was a blessing during the healing period. Dr. Hess never tried to “up sell” me and had a balanced view of what procedures made sense for me. I always felt like I was in capable hands.

Humiliating experience--He was impatient and mean
Have you ever had a fear of going to see a plastic surgeon (for an issue that has caused you years of back pain and sexual harassment) and left feeling even worse about your body image than before you came in? Well, your fears can be realized with one visit to Dr. Hess. Yes, it was that bad. He was impatient, mean, and brazenly told me about the issues with my body. So humiliating. Once he was finished telling me about my issues, he told me health insurance likely wouldn't cover it, get dressed, and he walked out the door. I had no idea what was going on! After the trauma, I got dressed, came out and saw him and his assistant talking with sour faces looking at someone's chart. I could only wonder if it was mine. I couldn't think clearly enough to know where the exit door was. So I asked him where to go. He said in there. I wasn't sure which of the two doors he meant. He said "THERE!" I left in tears. Ladies, keep your dignity-avoid this doctor!

Replaced my implants
After 15 years post mastectomy, I came to Dr. Hess for implant replacement. First, Dr. Hess accepts insurance and Medicare for this!! Not common among plastic surgeons. Fantastic outcome, and I will be going back for a facelift. Dr. Hess is professional and personable, willing to take time and answer questions. Highly recommend him.

The Best!
Thank you for opening my eyes, Dr. Hess - literally! My blepharoplasty procedure was all I hoped for - fast, successful, and with local anesthesia, very affordable. Dr. Hess and his staff were great, healing was quick, and within a couple months I was ready to celebrate our big wedding anniversary … looking great.

Excellent Job
I went in for a massive reduction. I wanted as much boob removed as possible (lower back pain/body dysmorphia) and that is exactly what he did. I couldn't be happier with the results.

Excision of left Volar Wrist Ganglion Cyst
Dr. Hess examined the ganglion cyst on my wrist and explained the medical procedure and the chances of recurrence (10%). Surgery was successfully completed. I was astonished there was no real pain during recovery, and very pleased with the results. He has a pleasant and positive demeanor. I highly recommended Dr. Hess for this type of surgery.

Excellent plastic surgeon!
I’d recommend Dr. Richard Hess to anybody who’s considering cosmetic surgery. He did mine, and the results are fabulous. I had upper (lift) and lower (reduction of “poofyness”) eyelid surgery, and he also evened out my upper eyelids as one of them was drooping more than the other. I was able to have it done in his office under local anesthesia. I’m so pleased with my eyes now. They look natural, not “done.” “I’d be offended if anybody asked you if you had something done to your eyes,” Dr. Hess told me. Well, no one has. Also, no one asks me if I’m tired anymore! P.S. If you’re lucky, he’ll sing country western songs while he operates!

Personable Skilled Artist
I had Dr Hess perform an upper blepharoplasty. The in office procedure and recovery were both easier and less painful than I imagined. I had minimal bruising and was back to work 8 days later. I am THRILLED with the results. My only regret is that I didn't have the procedure done sooner. His office was beautiful and clean and all the staff were lovely caring individuals. Dr Hess will definitely be my choose of surgeon in the future.
