I had such an amazing experience with Dr. Hainer! I took my 11 year old son to him for a sebaceous cyst on his head that had caused a bald spot and an ugly growth that kept getting larger. Dr. Hainer was so good with my son and my son and I felt very comfortable with going through with surgery. We are now 4 months post op from his surgery and his head looks great! Kids at school no longer bother him with questions about his head so he is VERY happy with that! Could not be happier!

I came out of two surgeries with Dr. Hainer. Both with serious infections. He made excuses and even tried blaming me. The infection specialist confirmed the infections were from the surgery. His office nurse is horribly rude and behaves as if she is being put out by helping you. This was an all around bad experience for me.
Both cosmetic and reconstructive surgery involve risks and complications, infection being one of them. My patients are always educated prior to any surgery of the potential risks and complications. They are always treated with the utmost of compassion and respect by all of my staff. Infections can be serious issues and are always dealt with accordingly. Recovery is a team process. No one is ever blamed. We are always diligent, thoughtful and concerned throughout the entire process with everyone.

Dr Hainer and staff has always been very professional and kind to me, and his bedside manners are excellent! I had a reconstruction after having breast cancer and while my healing process was longer than the average persons, I'm very happy to be in Dr Hainer's care (take bad reviews with a grain of salt. I don't think they are telling the whole story...sounds like bs to me)

Decisive skilled board certified plastic surgeon. Pleasant, kind, honest and easy to talk to. Made me feel comfortable and confident to place myself in his care. I was already aware of his reputation as skilled in his craft! I visted Dr Hainer twice, before scheduling the first part of a two part procedure with him. He was the most definitive in his assessment-- with direct, and unhesitant recommendations to help me attain my goals, after a 110#wt loss, maintained more than 2yrs.

High risk complications attained from his work. I can NO LONGER USE MY RIGHT HAND! Infection + hit a nerve. I am FOREVER DISABLED.
As a board certified hand surgeon fellowship trained at the renowned Cleveland Clinic, I can honestly say I have never had a nerve injury in my 20yrs of practice. Infections are risks of any surgery no matter how minor. All of my patients are thoroughly educated on the risks associated with their surgery, infection being one of them. Every patient is treated with the utmost compassion and respect. Each treatment plan is individualized to achieve the best possible outcome.

Worst surgeon EVER!!!!!! Run the other way, horrible REPUTATION!
Unfortunately, slanderous reviews are a part of being a high profile surgeon. It saddens me that medical professionals have to defend themselves on a constant basis with no real ability for recourse.

I had a tummy tuck and breast surgery done with Dr. Hainer. I just love my results!! I truly appreciate the amount of time he spent with me at my first appointment, I was very comfortable and excited moving forward to the surgery. The staff was wonderful, and in the scheduling of appointments was very helpful working around my schedule. I would very much recommend Dr. Hainer!!!
Rochester, MI |
I would highly recommend Dr. Hainer!! At my consultation appointment he was very informative, really took his time explaining and answering my questions about my procedure. I feel almost like family at his office with not only the Dr but his staff. My surgery went very well, and I could not be happier with my results!!

WORST PLASTIC SURGEON EVERRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!! My experiences have been a nightmare everytime - Staff is very RUDE & dismissive, the doctor shuts you up if u ask 1 question - 90 minute waiting time and 5 minute doctor interaction. - You cannot ask questions - Unsanitary conditions
We are always available for our patients. My staff is always friendly, and courteous and is always available for any patient need. I provide all my patients with my cell phone number and am available to them 24/7. Our consultations are designed to educate and provide all the necessary patient information so that each patient can make a fully educated decision about their choice of procedure. We never pressure anyone to schedule surgery hence our consultations are always complimentary.

I had a face iift and tummy tuck by Dr Hainer in June 2016. The results are amazing! I get tons of compliments everyday and my face looks completely natural. A true artist and a very talented surgeon. I have been a nurse for over 35 years and have worked with 100's of surgeons, so trust me when I tell you, he is good. I have several friends that are planning their touch ups with him. I also, would like to mention how wonderful and attentive his office staff is. Love all of them!!!
Rochester, MI |
He made false promises about my surgeries and had to revise them. When my fat transfer failed now, he told me he through his assistant (not directly) that he was taking me off his revision schedule and I needed to go somewhere else! He is highly unprofessional, manipulative, then does not make his inadequacies right with the patient. Then, on top of everything, he abandoned me to find a correction on my own, to spend more money and did not have the guts to speak with me directly. Shameful.
Our goal at North Oakland plastic Surgery is to provide exceptional care to each patient on an individualized approach. We always take the extra step to assure patients are fully satisfied with all levels of their care. Even if that means a touch up or revision. My door is always open and I am always available to listen to patients, thereby providing all of them with my personal contact information. Our practice strives to provide superior care in an atmosphere of comfort, confidence and trust.

Dr Hainer did my breast augmentation and he put one implant under my muscle and one over my muscle. I didn't find out until years later. So there was nothing I could do about it at the time. Don't go here
