Accepting new patients

My goal is to team-up with my patients and their families to accurately and clearly define their problems, provide understandable treatment options and to carry out our plan with professional, precise and expert care. Our first goal is to avoid surgery, but when it's necessary, I have the perspective to advise the best surgical procedure for the patient as an individual. Most importantly, I meticulously oversee the rehab and recovery phase of my patients to get them back to their best selves as soon as possible.

Don't ever be hesitant to obtain knee replacement with Dr. Gray. I am so happy to be rid of the pain I had before my partial knee replacement. There were days where I simply could not walk. After Dr. Gray determined the pain was from bone on bone at my joint I underwent the partial knee replacement. I have completed my regimen of physical therapy and have strength back and can go up and down stairs with no difficulty. Dr. Gray provides excellent support and communication.

I needed rotator cuff surgery and had delayed the surgery for three years with modifications. I was given a Dr at this clinic because the one I requested did not take my insurance. I did not get a sense of confidence in his work based on previous patients that I had met so I requested to be transferred to Dr. Gray. He approved my transfer and it was the best gift I could receive as a patient. HE IS AMAZING! He has the best, most compassionate approach to treating patients.

I first saw Dr. Gray in January of 2017, I was in such pain I could barely walk , I had osteoarthritis .it was devastating my life, I couldn't walk I couldn't work I wasn't able to sleep I was in pain 24-7 . I had been to a couple of Surgeons before finding Dr. Gray, The very first visit with him I knew he was the Man. I needed. about three weeks later he did double knee replacement.. The Man is an artist , A great guy who takes the time to explain options and concerns.

Dr. Gray has been my orthopedic Dr. for over 15 years, anytime I needed to see him, I've been able to get an appointment quickly. from the minute Julie calls you back, she's asking how your doing, she puts you at ease with her professionalism and smile! When Dr Gray comes into the room, He smiles looks you in the eye with a concerned look, and ask how I'm doing, then he will take the time to listen to what I have to say, I never feel rushed, I couldn't ask for a better Dr patient relationship!
Lakewood, WA |
Dr. Gray and his staff were all wonderful when my husband needed semi-emergent spinal surgery. A year out, my husband is doing great and our final visit with Dr. Gray was just as fulfilling as the first visit. He truly cares about his patients.
in Tacoma, WA |
I would recommend Dr. Gray to anyone! I have had both hips replaced by Dr. Gray and I have had no problems! He is a very caring man, he took time with us answering all our questions. Even when I came for my second hip replacement he came into the room and made us feel like family. Marvin saw us a couple times and he also took time with us, answering our questions and he did a fine job on sewing my incision up! You can not go wrong with Dr. Gray and his staff!

Dr. Gray did my back surgery eight years ago and it was a great success. when I started having trouble with my hips Dr. Gray was the first one I thought of because he did such a great job on my spine. I would and have recommended to all my friends and family.

After I had exhausted other treatments I was referred to Dr. Gray. He was honest and explained the whole procedure. One year later and I feel fantastic. Thank you Dr. Gray.
seattle, wa |
I have seen Dr Gray for three separate injuries all of which could have been life changing. In each case he has returned me to "normal". I would recommend him with confidence and have done so. I hope to not have to need him again but if I do I won't go anywhere else!

For the first time in 20 months I live pain free. Dr. Grey listened to my frustrations of every doctor telling me to live with the pain down my leg. One quick test on my foot, Dr. Grey realized it was my back that needed a MRI. I had a new much less invasive L4/L5 fusion. After two weeks I feel brand new, feel years younger and can start living my life the way it was meant to be lived. Thank you Dr. Grey!
in Tacoma, WA |
Dr. Gray recently performed a second hip replacement for me. He replaced my right hip a couple of years ago and then I began having problems with my left hip. I had absolutely no question on where I would go when I needed the second surgery. Dr. Gray is the best of the best, so professional and kind. Takes all the time you need in explaining everything. I recommend him to all of my family and friends!
in Tacoma, WA |
I had partial knee replacement surgery done by Dr. Gray and I am completely satisfied with the results. I have had no complications and healing faster than I thought, I would recommend him to anyone. The office staff is very good and the surgery center did a great job.
in Tacoma , WA |
My husband saw this Dr in regards to a break he visited the emergency room for. The manwas smug and arrogant, basically, told him that nothing was wrong with him and that he was just drug seeking. Now, 2 years later, my husband is almost to the point of not being able to do his job and struggles with pain everyday. If this man had done his job, it would not have degenerated this far. He shouldnt be allowed to practice medicine as the hypocritical oath obviously means nothing to him.
in Port Orchard, WA |
I saw Dr. Gray after visiting two other spine surgeons. I was seeking input on the best way to treat stenosis and scoliosis. Dr. Gray took a great deal of time talking with me about alternatives and was informative, compassionate and pleasant. I felt he clarified the information I'd received from the other two surgeons and helped me to sort through various surgical alternatives. I very much appreciated his patience and the time he spent explaining my alternatives to me.
