Very friendly and professional staff. After seeing Dr Gaines, I am confident that I have chosen the right professional for my hip replacement. He took much more time than I expected to explain my problem to me in a way that I could understand and the procedure. I feel at ease that I will be well taken care of during and after my surgery. Awesome experience!!!

This was my third visit to the Orthopedic Clinic in Port Orange. The office team is pleasant and professional and I never have a long wait time. I requested Dr Gaines again because I was impressed with his office manner and treatment back in September. He is consciencious and takes time to ensure all aspects of care are covered; reviewed my injury via an x-ray, explained the extent of my injury, all treatment options and a follow-up care plan of action.

Not sure how my 1 star was entered as 2! I almost died after surgery because of the amount of drugs shoved into my IV before surgery! I asked the nurse to stop after the 3rd syringe back to back then the anesthesiologist jammed in the 4th! Couldn't be woken up until they stripped my system of all meds so I woke to no barrier to the pain! 2.5 yrs later I'm in constant pain but to afraid to have Gains work fixed! Couldn't pay me to trust my life to gains! His staff was amazing except PT staff!!

He dismissed me claimed I had a frozen shoulder In surgery he had to do 8 procedures as my shoulder was messed up! His anesthesiologist put so much into my IV before surgery they couldn't wake me after Had to strip body of all meds woke up no barrier to the pain! Screaming in agony was told to be quiet I was scaring others 2.5 yrs later in constant pain and now terrified of surgeries! Never had issues before Came highly recommended I wouldn't ever risk someone's life like mine was! I should sue!

Dr. Gaines, You did surgery in July 2017. I have being doing all my PT exercises and stretching. Your surgery was a total success. 80% torn rotator cuff and nearly 1 year later I am nearly 100% feeling good. Good range of motion. Now working on strength exercises and techniques from PT. You are amazing doc and thank you to your caring staff at Mason Ave clinic and PT. Your PT staff is awesome. Thanks again.

Great Doctor ~ The most obnoxious office staff I've ever dealt with, Front to back. Hands down. I thought maybe it was a bad day. But we've gone into another week, another year. The same poor attitude. Erroneous information. Short, clipped responses. If zero stars were an option that is what you would see. Very disappointing when relating to elderily and seriously ill patients.
