Dr. Diethelm has saved my wife's life on more than one occasion, she had brain seizures, he precripted her a great medicine, when my insurance changed, and it had to be preapproved, his staff was working on it but he gave her a three month supply, that is $2100.00 worth, he is very caring, does take the time find the problem and sits down and explains in detail what is going on and what to expect, she has Autoimmune Encephalitis, he had is the best thing that has happened to us we owe him life!!

I think he would be great if you could get to him when you need him. In other words get past the staff. I was diagnosed with RLS and was given med but was prescribed wrong and has taken almost a week to get it straight so I can sleep. I really liked him and seemed to care about my problem but I can't seem to talk with him to get this problem took care of.

No recommendation here what so ever...terrible bedside manner...would not take complaints seriously...checked for MS..wrote it off as a pinched nerve causing numbness....went to MS Center in Atlanta Ga...they used Diethems mri....promptly diagnosed me with Ms

Dr Diethelm is a very kind, compassionate doctor, who really cares about his patients. He takes all the time necessary to find the problem and treat it. His staff is wonderful. I know I can trust him and the value of that confidence is priceless.

On July 2, 2016, I had a brain stem small vessel stroke. Dr. Diethelm is a remarkable physician who is analytical and thoughtful. He works at a high level of efficiency. I especially appreciate his communication skills - active listening, attentiveness, clarification. He has worked cooperatively with me and my family throughout this frightening health crisis. Dr. Diethelm is professional, polite, warm and open to questions. I want to extend my heartfelt appreciation to him and his staff.

I love Dr Diethelm, he has helped me in more ways than one, and when i see him in the hospital i just want to grab him and hug his neck for being here for me. He is the best Dr that i have and i have quite a few. I love you Dr Diethelm you make me feel so safe and comfortable. When you walk into the room all my fears are gone. Thank you so much for being so great to me. Neda Wiley

Minimized the issues I have which are constricted vessels in the brain stem and multiple lesions. My husband asked a fairly simple question about any possibilities of early onset dementia or Alzheimer's and Dr. Diethelm's response was to abruptly hand my chart to his Nurse Practitioner and leave the room without answering. I found this to be very unprofessional and alarming. I was told to play Lumonisity to improve memory and problem solving skills. In the past year both have diminished greatly.
in Gadsden, AL |
Horrible Dr. Spent less than 3 minutes with me and told me to take a med that I had a previous reaction to and ended up in ER. I had enough knowledge and walked out knowing I would never take the med. Told me I had neuropathy without even pulling a lab. B6 toxicity. Thank God I figured it out and am healing..this Dr is horrible.

Dr. Diethelm has treated two of my family members. He has treated us with the utmost respect and dignity. I feel confident in trusting my loved ones' care to him.
in Pell City, Al |
He made me feel as though he was looking down at me like he didn't believe a word I told him. A Doctor or nurse should never look down their nose to a patient under no circumstances. No one knows how I feel better than me!!! I know when something is wrong with my body.I will never use this doctor again!!!
