      Dr. Cornell completed his Internal Medicine and Nephrology training at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN and joined Nephrology Associates of Kentuckiana in 1999.  Dr. Cornell  is a member and supporter of the following professional organizations: The  National Kidney Foundation (NKF), Jefferson County Medical Society (JCMS), Kentucky Medical Association, Nashville Veteran's Administration Medical Center Attending Staff, American Medical Association, American College of Physicians and Renal Physicians Association. 

      Dr. Cornell sees patients in the surrounding hospitals, his office on Dutchmans Parkway as well as his office in Scottsburg, IN.
