His experience has brought him to both the local and the national stage as a lecturer to physicians, physicians-in-training, and medical students on a variety of topics, including: the role of electronic medical records (EHR) in the private medical office, computerization of the medical office, and the future of private practice medicine. He has also lectured on innovations in osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, gout, and osteoporosis. Dr. Blau is the medical director and founder of The Arthritis Institute of Long Island. The is staffed by dedicated professionals and is a full-service diagnostic private practice located in Hicksville, New York. Dr. Blau was amazing, one of the best doctors I have visited. His immediate nurses are friendly and funny, too. Dr. Blau has the best personality, I wish more doctors were like him. The only flaw is the receptionists. They are the first line of attack and they are miserable. Since Dr. Blau is...more

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. My staff tries very hard to provide the highest level of care and personal attention. Had you personally contacted me, I am certain this would have been quickly resolved. Anonymous complaints are difficult to correct without knowing the specifics. Richard, please call my office and speak to me personally. I will happily investigate the matter and hopefully resolve the problem to your and your wife's satisfaction. My best wishes to you and your wife
