I traveled from 3 hours away for an expert opinion from a vascular neurologist on 2 possible cryptogenic strokes, but found Dr. Bernstein to be rather blunt, a tad offensive, and strongly opinionated but based little on medical research. He did take his time, but really was not what I had...more

Good diagnostician, people skills are tremendously lacking. He showed a lack of caring, compassion and empathy after the initial diagnosis. Telling someone to get used to excruciating pain is unacceptable. This comment does not help a patient deal with a serious medical problem.
