Care Philosophy

This content was provided by Dr. Ackerson "The foundation of my approach to medicine involves a collaborative effort between myself and my patients, helping each patient assume an active role in their treatment. Rather than a cookie-cutter, one-size-fits-all mentality, my philosophy emphasizes the importance of treating the individual. This entails careful consideration of the details that make each patient - and their medical problems - unique. Once the problem is diagnosed, we then develop a treatment plan. Through a coordinated effort involving the doctor, patient, and hand therapist, we implement the patient-specific treatment plan and strive to achieve the best outcomes possible."
