Dr. Govezie is absolutely great! Five years ago he repaired my rotator cuff and bicep tendon. The surgery was tough and rehab equally as challenging, however, it was all well worth Dr. G doing the surgery! I have had several orthopedic surgeries (both knees and hands) (not done by Dr. G) and I can not say I have recovered as well as I hoped. But as a result of Dr. G's exceptional skills, I have had NO BAD RESULTS! from the repair of my shoulder. The pain is gone and my motion is 99.9%. I am a senior and can play softball, pickleball, and even throw a baseball again. While I knew he was good, I NEVER expected this kind of result! I would recommend him to all, and I have! Thanks...Doc!

Dr Gobezie did a complete reverse shoulder replacement on my right shoulder. I am 70 years old. The entire process with him and his staff was very smooth and informative. He did the surgery and I went home the same day. The pain block did not wear off for 24 hours and when it did I had very little pain. My use of the shoulder increased as I went through PT, and I am now four months from surgery and have resumed completely the use of my shoulder. I'm a gardener and can dig in the dirt again! I will resume bowling also as soon as the Covid-19 stay at home order is over.

Dr. Gobezie done my reverse shoulder replacement with a Lat transfer in January 2020. I have had a few surgeries in my life being I am 66, but this Doctor is the best. I always check all stats before I pick a surgeon and his was impressive. Not only was the surgery successful, the after care with all the nurses was better than I could have imagined. Would I suggest Dr. Gobezie to anyone? Most definitely! Most importantly, he really seems to care and it shows. It has been 10 weeks now and I have pretty much full range of motion. Doing the exercises every day and it is getting stronger.

Dr. Gobezie is amazing. Very intelligent, wonderful bedside manner, and talented surgeon. He repaired a rotator cuff tear that another surgeon wasn’t sure could be repaired. Dr. Gobezie explained everything and handled post-surgical issues and questions very well. He came highly recommended to me. I drove 3 hours one way to ensure I had the best shoulder surgeon, and he didn’t disappoint.

Dr. Gobezie and his team did a wonderful job on my reverse shoulder replacement. I had minimal pain thanks to an excellent nerve block that last a couple of days. I then minimally used pain medications. After two weeks I was out of the sling and preparing for physical therapy. So far therapy has been great and I am quickly regaining my full range of motion with minimal discomfort while therapists manipulate my arm. I highly recommend Dr. Gobezie and The therapists at Go Ortho; Kelly and Erin have been great.

Dr. Gobezie performed bicep tendon surgery on my right shoulder. Dr. Gobezie is very attentive and personable to his patients. He is execellent! While other doctors are still trying to figure out what is wrong with my shoulder, he has assessed the problem; performed the surgery; followed up often to make sure everything is healing properly. After six weeks of physical therapy (also at the Cleveland Shoulder Institute), my shoulder is good as new.

So I had been having shoulder pain for the last 6-7 yrs. or so. Never went to a Dr until I recently hit Medicare age, then went to local ortho doc and was told I needed a shoulder replacement. Talking to people around here I didn't trust local orthopedists to do that surgery, so I started researching for a doctor who could perform a minimally invasive procedure. I watched Dr Gobezie's youtube videos and between my own research and another person's review, I chose him and I am very glad I did. Its now been just over 8 weeks and I have almost full range of motion back, have not had hardly any pain after the first few days and very seldomly now think about moving my arm in any direction. I was impressed with him and his staff, but more so, my wife(who was skeptical beforehand but she had to travel with me)who is a Hospice clinical director here was quite impressed with him, the hospital and the whole environment. Even the hospital food was outstanding! Would do it again if needed.

Dr. Gobezie is a wonderful doctor that knows his stuff!! I had two different types of MRI's done and they both showed something different that was wrong with my shoulder. I was referred to Dr. Gobezie for a second opinion and glad I was. He said that more than likely I had a bicep tear and that they don't usually show up on the MRI's and they don't look for it. So I ended up having surgery and he was right! I had a SLAP tear. I wait less than 15 min to see him at my appointments. I recommend everyone to see Dr. Gobezie because he's very knowledgeable in what he does and trustworthy. I also like that if you have any problems or questions after having surgery like I did that there's always someone on call. I called and the answering service got a hold of one of the PA's and they called me back right away that same day! Wonderful doctor and staff all around!!

He saved my shoulder. I had a detached subscap and bicep tendon issue. And now, just six months later? I just swam 2,800 meters at a good pace. I am 85 percent there. Was doing most things around the house by 12 weeks after surgery. Great experience, great surgeon!

Have had both reverse shoulder replacement surgery within the last two years. Right recovery was easier, and my most recent was slower because of other damage. Very pleased with results. Best of all no pain even immediately.

Dr.Gobezie has done a rich arm bicept repair 2 years ago and a reverse shoulder on my left arm in May, and I am very happy with both surgeries. Now that he is in his new location the office seems to be a lot less chaotic. I used his PT genie along with other therapy and was very pleased with the results. It kept me motivated and on track. If I should ever need any other work done I will definitely go see him.
