I would not recommend Dr. Roques-Davis. She had a nice smile but one of the first things she asked was if I was going to get breast reconstruction. When I answered no, she said that I wouldn’t be pretty and my clothes wouldn’t fit right without reconstruction, as I sat in front of her with no breasts. When it came to chemo, she left that up to me. She said she was concerned about my Lymphovascular invasion and that my endopredict test would have to be rerun. I agreed to chemo based on her level of concern. It turns out, after having an Oncotype done with a different oncologist, that chemo would not be beneficial. And that a Lymphovascular invasion in the node isn’t concerning, only if it’s in the breast tissue does it become important. I’ve had two medical oncologists tell me since, that chemo is not indicated in my case. I almost went through the expense and side effects for no reason.

Dr.. Rebecca Davis and the nurses and staff have been a Godsend. They are considered a part of our family. They have always been professional and courteous. They are reachable and will call you if you have any problems. They are approachable and loving. Something you rarely find in clinical settings, but something that cancer patients desperatley need.

I went to Dr. Roques-Davis from a referral of another specialist after a mass was removed. She was more or less a "robot". She barely checked me out, wasn't going to do any testing (at all) until I told her some information from the surgery. She seemed very unprepared, didn't know anything I asked her, and just kept responding with "maybe" or "I don't think so". She could never give a yes or no to a question I asked. I felt very let down by her, and now I am seeking a second opinion.
