I recently went to Dr. Baird as a new patient. I was waiting in the room for my pap smear and could hear her talking rudely in the hall about how she had somewhere she needed to go and "let me just go get this over with so I can get out of here". Well that made me feel welcome. She comes in and does the pap smear without much bedside manner. She asks if there is anything else and I tell her that I am in menopause and experiencing night sweats, weight gain and other symptoms and if there is a

Dr. Baird was the doctor on-call the day I went into labor with our baby. I have enjoyed all my experiences with Charleston OB/GYN, so I trusted Dr. Baird would do a great job. She was very knowledged and calm in the delivery room, which made me feel comfortable during the birthing process; I felt like I had the support of a veteran OB in Dr. Baird. Needless to say, the birth went perfectly, and Dr. Baird was calm and collected the whole time. It was an amazing birthing experience!

Dr. Baird has been my doctor for 3 years. I really like her and her nurse, Vicki. They have always gone the second mile for my care. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in December and needed a hysterectomy in late March due to vaginal bleeding and fibroids. She did a great job on the surgery and I healed quickly. I admire her work ethic and experience. She and Vicki make a great team. I can recommend Dr. Baird without reservations. She has helped me with numerous issues like yeast infect

She let my mother go months with severe infections throughout her uterus after giving birth. When she went to someone else for a second opinion he told us we were lucky to still have her. They didn't suction my brother at birth and he developed a mucus plug and was in the hospital in a coma for 2 weeks while they tried to get his lung working right this past May. He will be 2 in August. Would never step foot back into her practice.
