Dr. Raymond Harron received his undergraduate degree from the West Virginia University/ Marshall University. He continued his education at The West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine where he earned his medical degree. Dr. Harron completed his Residency in Neurological Surgery at the Bi-County Community Hospital in Warren, MI. In addition, Dr. Harron received Fellowship training in General Neurological Surgery at the Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburg, PA. He also completed a second Fellowship in General Neurological Surgery and Spine Surgery at the University or Arizona in Tucson, AZ. Dr. Harron chose to practice General Neurosurgery because of his dedicated interest in the disorders of the Brain and Spinal Cord. He enjoys meeting new patients and their families and coordinating their neurosurgical care. Dr. Harron grew up in Bridgeport, WV. He is married to his wife Kimeran, and together they have four sons. In his free time, Dr. Harron enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He loves living in Roanoke because of the beautiful scenery and the small town charm.
