Dr. Ray Fontenot is a native of Mamou, Louisiana. He graduated from Louisiana State University in 1980. He continued his post graduate education by completing a general surgery internship and otolaryngology residency at University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston in 1989.
Dr. Fontenot joined Southeast Texas Ear, Nose, and Throat in 1989. He completed additional training in Otolaryngic Allergy in 1994. He is board certified in Otolaryngology. Dr. Fontenot has been named as a "Super Doc" by Texas Monthly. He has been selected as one of the "Best Doctors in the U.S." For several years he has been honored to be named Beaumont Enterprise Readers' Choice as Best Otolaryngologist.
In addition to general ear, nose and throat care, he specializes in sinus surgery including in-office balloon procedures as well as treating allergy problems and symptoms.
Dr. Fontenot is on staff at Baptist Beaumont Hospital, St. Elizabeth Hospital, and Medical Center of Southeast Texas Victory Campus. He is Board Certified in Otolaryngology.
