Going through such a horrible experience with Dr. Rao. My dad has stage 4 cancer and all he was requesting was an additional Petscan since he was seemly recovering gradually with his own nutrition and home remedies. Dr. Rao never ecen tried to acknowledge this improvement. His PSA levels dropped from being at almost an 8 to 0.15 and Dr. Rao gave zero acknowledgement. My dad has the insurance to pay for an additional petscan because it had the timing and cause for it and Dr. Rao suggested we find another Dr. If we wanted a second opinion? When did improving in health ment we had to find another Doctor for another opinion? He offered to refer us to Stanford, but due to that inconvenience of location for us we were forced to try and find something local. Due to the longer waiting times and complications with having to start all over again, we returned with Dr. Rao to revieve the referral and by all means try and get my dad in Stanford as soon as possible. When Dr. Raos staff gave me a call back they just let me know that they fave Dr. Rao the request to reveive referral again and that he just said NO withno expanation and told us to take my dad back to his primary Doctor. This was a shocker and still is for us. Were very dissapointed in the Medical system due to this Doctors actions. I tried doing a Transfer to another Oncologist and to find out Dr. Rao discharged my dad from this location so now my dad can not be seen from any other Oncologist in this location. May god give grace to this Doctor who forgot why he started this career in the first place. You are here Thanks to these patients who all they desire is health. Questions and concerns should not bother or disturb you in any way as long as they are respecting you as a profesional and health is the optimal goal here. My dads health did not matter to this Doctor please take your loved ones elsewhere.

Dr. Ravi Rao is excellent in patients' care practice. Moving to California from Toronto, Canada, I was worried on the level of care my wife might receive. We are lucky to find Dr. Rao, as her clinical oncologist. He takes time, listens and addresses any issues in a very friendly way. His polite and caring approach is very soothing. God bless him. Our special thanks to him.

Dr. Rao is a credible, kind, direct, empathetic physician who attended to my father during his 10 month battle with late stage Pancreatic Cancer. While dad’s diagnosis did not lend itself to much hope for an extended future, the care we were given was always results-oriented and intentional. We never felt that we were being dismissed as a result of our inevitably fatal situation. Dr. Rao was open to us exploring other opinions, experimental programs, and unconventional palliative treatments. He is a bit slow to warm up, but if you hang in with him, his great compassion will very certainly show itself. If you have been lucky enough to have been assigned to him or are considering him for your care, you are truly lucky. Cancer is just about the worst thing ever, and speaking from experience, it likely won’t be exactly what you expect, but having partners like Rao and his team made it much less scary.

Dr. Roa was my wife's doctor for a few years. Several years ago when they company merged with CCare it all when down hill. He changed 100%. We felt like we were no longer a patience just a $$$$$ for them. We have spoken to several of his patiences and they say the same thing. Cancer is a life changing experience that you should feel that your Dr really care. NO SO WITH HIM.............

Very knowledgeable and intelligent oncologist. Long wait times to see him a serious problem (30 to 90-minutes each visit). His manner generally lacks warmth, which limits his ability to provide compassionate care.

He is a liar. Extreme one dimensional shallow mindset. Numbers and charts only. Will not consider any other facts vital to diagnosis. A fresno doctor for reason. Refuse to refer us to more competent and diverse help on a very unique problem. Over his head. Took advantage of my excellent insurance , kept us in hospital 5 days longer than needed or $10,000.
