This doctor knows what he is doing. I am very satisfied with the gallbladder surgery I had.
in Ocala, Florida |
Dr Chandra shouldn't be able to practice surgery. He is arrogant, self-rightious and has absolutely no reason to be. He is a butcher that I wouldn't let operate on my dog. He caused more damage than good. Do not use him!
in Belleview, fl |
Very personable and takes the one to explain everything. Best surgeon in the area.
in OCALA, FL |
Dr. Chandra is one of the finest surgeons in the state of Florida. I am a nurse and believe me, the folks at the hospital know who is good. This guy is wonderful. My dual hernia repair was so well done, I can't tell I ever had a problem. Would highly recommend him to anyone for anything he does. Very happy with my results!

We are an Accredited Vascular Testing Facility...The testing lab at Surgical Specialists of Ocala offers ultrasounds for both venous and arterial patient needs. We take measures to ensure accuracy in testing by having procedures performed by our full time RVTs (registered vascular technicians). This is one of the ways we take extra steps to provide thorough diagnostic procedures. We have also obtained accreditation for our testing facility from the Intersocietal Accreditation Committee. What does that mean? The IAC develops standards and methods for the evaluation of the quality of care delivered. The IAC also provides peer review processes for multiple imaging modalities within the medical community. Applying for and maintaining IAC accreditation is The Vein Center's way of ensuring our patients we are transparently pursuing the highest level of excellence in providing care.

Comprehensive Vein Care...At The Vein Center of North Florida, we understand the importance of comprehensive care and treatment of the veins. The proper circulation of blood to take oxygen and nourishment to the vital organs and tissues throughout the body is very important. Too often, patients dismiss unsightly or bulging veins as a cosmetic issue as opposed to an outward symptom of improper blood flow.

The Vein Center of North Florida uses the latest technology and least invasive procedures possible to repair and optimize the function of your veins. Whether it's unsightly spider veins or painful bulging veins, it's not about vanity, it's about vitality. What you see on the outside is a call to attention for what needs to be corrected on the inside. The Vein Center of North Florida can help you.

Even specialists specialize. One orthopedic surgeon might do nothing but hip surgeries, while another does nothing but knees. If you want the best possible care, it’s critical to match your medical need with the doctor who truly specializes in treating it.
