Care Philosophy

This content was provided by Dr. Kazlauskaite "Hormones, metabolism, and nutrition affect every organ and every system in the body. As such, they are essential for life. Hormones must be produced by the thyroid, adrenal, pituitary, pancreas and other hormone-secreting glands in the right amounts and at the right times.  Disruption of this hormonal balance may cause or influence disease conditions; these glands may contain benign or malignant lesions. We specialize in investigating these glands, their function, aiming to restore the normal hormone balance necessary for a person's day-to-day functioning and productivity.  I specialize in the integration of available technology (particularly in diabetes management) to help people manage their disease. Our philosophy recognizes that the patients are managing their condition - our role is to advise. We are helpers, but the patient is the boss."

I have been very scared about the whole situation and after seeing a couple of doctors, I was recommended to go see Dr. K for a final opinion. I...Read More
