I asked for the best and that is what I got!
Dr Garr and his staff are so professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. Dr Garr explained my foot pain/treatment options so I could completely understand and ask questions. I felt part of the process and confident I had found the best foot surgeon in the valley. I knew my concerns/surgery would be handled with the utmost care. I look forward to getting my other foot surgery when the time comes.

Choose Dr. Garr
I had the best experience with Dr. Garr. I had previously seen a different doctor and had a horrible experience and got an infection and it was horrible and so painful. Not the case with Dr. Garr! I was really nervous to go because of my previous experience but Dr. Garr was so patient, kind, and understanding! He completely obliterated my fears. He solved the previous issue the other doctor didn't, and he solved it in such a gentle and patient way. Not only was Dr. Garr amazing but every other staff member I interacted with was so kind and lovely too! It's been weeks since I had my appointment and everything has been great and I constantly find myself thinking back on what a positive experience this was. I know it's hard to choose a doctor, but I think you will be very happy if you choose Dr. Garr.

Great care
I had my first visit with Dr Garr and felt like he took care to really understand my concern and issue with plantar fasciitis. I had heard there wasn’t much a doctor could do to help relieve the pain, but he was very proactive and offered several solutions. I will definitely be going back.

Visiting Dr Garr was the best medical experience I have ever had for any physical issue. He was thorough, friendly, and took his time to review, explain and consider several options. I highly recommend him. A dramatic difference from experiences I’ve had with other podiatrists in the area— and I’ve seen two others. He actually listened and then took the time to show me how to care for the foot rather than tell me what I already knew but leave me hanging about what to do next. And he scheduled a follow up, to check on progress. He shows the kind of caring you hope for from a medical professional.

I could not be happier
I have had a chronic bad ankle for many years and 15 months ago i aggravated it in a biking accident. Because I take blood thinners for a heart valve condition, most Dr.s do a risk/reward analysis on any treatment they may proscribe and give me some gel to rub on it or simply say they won't take the risk. I limped for 14 months with the ankle getting more and more painful as time went by. While visiting in Utah, the pain became so intense I made an appointment with Dr. Garr's office and they worked me right in. The office is convenient, friendly and clean. Upscale looking from the moment I opened the door. The office staff were all very pleasant and seemed to know my name from first introductions. Shortly Dr. Garr came in, listened to my summary of my ankle problems and issues with blood thinners. What he said after taking X-rays was music to my ears. "I can see some issues that need attention but for a complete picture we need to schedule an MRI and I am certain I know what it will sh

I had 3 prior ankle surgeries out of state and was in need of a good podiatrist here. Was referred to Dr Garr and he was very careful & sensitive to my heightened anxiety to proceed with another procedure. I received excellent care and his office & staff was exceptional! They are willing to help with every phone call and go over and above to answer all questions & concerns!! Definitely glad I came to them!

I was greeted right away in a friendly manner. I was a new patient so needed to fill out papers. Just a short wait to see the doctor. I came for a second opinion. I had been given by another foot doctor only the option of surgery for a very painful toe. Dr Garr agreed that surgery may have to happen later but gave me two other options to try first. This was a big relief to me as I have limited time to have a surgery in my current circumstances. He was very nice and competent. I look forward to seeing how these two sleeves help my sore toe.

I came for my first visit at the end of the year, which may have played into why the wait was almost an hour to see Dr. Garr. However, Dr. Garr did not rush through his time with me and made sure that all my concerns were addressed. The staff was very friendly and upbeat, even in the face of the back-to-back patients. I knew that the staff were listening to me because they asked questions and then remembered them and commented on them later. The care I was provided was efficient and has since improved my overall situation. I am glad I spent the time I did in Dr. Garr's office.

I will re-evaluate, when we have a final result, but i like what I know so far. Dr. Garr uses took tissue samples from my foot in order to accurately identify the infectious organism, and take an accurately targeted approach to treatment. That is exactly what I had hoped. My previous Podiatrist used the shotgun approach and simply guessed what he thought the foot fungus might be and the previous podiatrist's temporary solution lasted for about a week after the treatment ended. As a scientist, I have more confidence in Dr. Garr's methodical approach and look forward to knowing the prescribed treatment, when the organism has been identified.
