HE SHOULD HAVE HIS MEDICAL LICENSE TAKEN AWAY. My rheumatologist suggested I see an Oncologist because my absolute neutrophil count (ANC) was 40,000. I went to see Dr. Pierce. I told him I felt horrible. He dismissed the fact that my ANC count was very, very high. I recently found the labs he ran...more

I am sorry about your experience, but these facts you state are clearly not how I practice medicine. I would never dismiss an ANC of 40,000. Your LDH is not significant, and the CRP is likely high due to your rheumatologic condition. If you wish to discuss this feel free to call our office and leave a name so I can actually review your records and I would be happy to address this.

EBV is an infectious illness, not a cancer. There is no treatment but supportive care. It is associated with malignancy however, particularly lymphoproliferative disorders, which is what I do. I am sorry for your experience, but if you truly believe what you describe is how it actually happened, you are quite mistaken.
