He is a very bad doctor - I ended up to do another surgery to clean up his mess- He did a surgery on my knee and basically didnt do anything except put two big screws on my leg without saying anything to me - It was horrible and painful experience for so long that i dealt with it . It was so painful after surgery that even with a painkiller i couldn't aid a pain. To make the story short pain never did go away and end up to do another surgery because of his horrible job he did- I remember when i ask dr payton why after 6 months of surgery i still have pain. HE BASICALLY SAID I DONT KNOW IF YOU KNOW IT WHO KNOWS. He probably expecting me to give him an answer . Hope this review help you- I had pain for year and half but my second surgery was excellent and i am pain free now :)

LOVE Dr. Peyton and his practice. I am thankful that my family doctor suggested Dr. Peyton. Could not have asked for a kinder, understanding, skillful surgeon who knows his way around the knee (actually both of mine). My husband was also seen by this practice for his shoulder and received wonderful care. I would drive many hours to see Dr. Peyton if I had to.

Office efficient and helpful. The scheduling team very helpful. I saw Dr. Peyton 3 times total. Before surgery, right after surgery, briefly. All follow up appointments were with his PA. I had muscle pain that didn't occur until 4 weeks after surgery. PA was not in surgery and could not answer any questions about what might have happened during the replacement. It is 8 months since the replacement and my leg continues to hurt. It doesn't seem coordinated with my other leg.

I was not excited about seeing Dr. Peyton, after reading reviews and things I heard, but my Oncologist insisted and I am so happy I did. I had another Dr. tell me my hips would break walking to the car. Two years later and choosing Dr. Peyton, I am still moving, walking and exercising without surgery. Dr. Peyton is kind, patient and explains everything. I never felt rushed or inconsequential. So thankful I went to see Dr. Peyton.

Arrogant doctor. Would not see me after the surgery despite very serious complication. Had his nursing staff see me instead.

Rude office staff. Dr. Peyton claims flat feet are happy feet. That is baloney. Took three hours for one x ray!!

Peyton is, by far, the most arrogant, self-serving, mean-spirited physician I have ever met. He has the bedside manner of a badger and acts likes he is resentful of the time he has to waste with his patients. He is more concerned about liability than health and well-being. I need hip replacement surgery, like yesterday. But, I would never consider going back to his practice. Rather, I will postpone surgery to find another doctor that does not exude narcissism! Arthritis and Sports...stay away

This office is a thief. They give you inaccurate information. They tell you something is covered and in fact is not. Be very careful you don't fall into their trap. Don't rely on them and make sure you double check all the information they give you.

Yes you may have to wait past your appointment time but once there Dr Peyton always takes his time to explain and answer questions. He is always welcoming and yet to the point which is something I value. Follow up is with Edwin who is very capable. If you must see the main dr every time then this system might not be for you. I personally prefer to know the whole team. Dr P corrected a leg length from a previous hip replacement (at a well know clinic) and rocked my world!

Dr. Peyton did a great job with my total hip replacement and I'm going in for the other side soon. I agree with other reviewers in that he was not there much after the surgery, but his PA's are excellent and were willing to answer any questions I had. Dr. Peyton answered all of my questions and gave me a lot of reassurance leading up to the surgery and on the day of surgery. He's the guy you want if you need a hip replacement!

If you are looking for a doctor that cares enough about post surgery progress do not see this doctor. I was heavily over medicated and never once did my family get a call from Dr. Peyton (after many calls to ask him questions) to explain or show any concern. Very disappointed with his after surgery care. A PA or hospital nurse at Reston Hospital is not acceptable. Reston Hospital does not have a staff you can feel comfortable leaving a patient on narcotics. My husband had to spend the night.

I waited an hour for a five minute consultation with him. He never told me what was his diagnosis was about my shoulder. I had to ask the person giving my injection.
