      Why Does Experience Matter?

Even specialists specialize. One orthopedic surgeon might do nothing but hip surgeries, while another does nothing but knees. If you want the best possible care, it’s critical to match your medical need with the doctor who truly specializes in treating it.

      Dr. Castello's Care Philosophy

Our mission is to provide compassionate, patient-centered cardiovascular services. Though our access to state of the art technology is impressive, the real strength of our practice lies in a close partnership between our patients and us to empower them on their cardiovascular care. We tried very hard to integrate our practice the primary care physicians, as well as with other specialist closely related to cardiovascular care such as nephrologists, endocrinologists, neurologists and pulmonologists

      Dr. Castello says...

I have been practicing Cardiology for over 25 years. Most of my career was spent in Academic Medicine in the field of Echocardiography. I have authored over 200 scientific publications

I am a big believer in a patient-centered approach to Medicine. I am convinced that a close patient/doctor partnership is the best way to improve healthcare results.

My interest within cardiology include valvular disease with new technologies such as TAVR and MitraClip, coronary disease primary and secondary prevention, individualized treatments of hypertension, evaluation of stroke and related conditions such as carotid disease, arrhythmias  and PFOs, and evaluation of patients with dizziness and autonomic function disorders.

Our office provides all forms of noninvasive cardiology testing. We aspire to interact closely with primary physicians. In addition, we have close partnerships with the most sophisticated interventional cardiologists, electrophysiologists  and advance heart failure and transplants specialists in town

      Dr. Castello says...

My main expertise is in all areas of cardiovascular ultrasound, including echocardiography, all forms of stress echocardiography and transesophageal echocardiography.

In the last years we have made significant advances in the understanding of the role of the autonomic nervous system (ANS) in cardiovascular disease. By evaluating the ANS noninvasively we have been able to diagnose and treat may patients with dizziness, syncope and near syncope, arrhythmias and orthostatic hypotension
