Dr. Eskandari is an incredibly talented professional who cares not only for the patient but also the patient's family. He finds a way to provide really complex information through understandable terms. He also doesn't make anyone's situation out to be anything but the truth so his communication is always great and always transparent. If your child needs a pediatric neurosurgeon to better or save their life, you can't go wrong with Dr. Eskandari, his Team and MUSC Children's Hospital. I should know...he saved my life and he as well as Kate McCormack from his Team, have been a part of our family ever since.

Simply stated, Dr. Eskandari saved our daughter's life. She was diagnosed with 2 brain issues that needed attention when she was 15 years old. Dr. Eskandari, his staff including Kate McCormack and the entire MUSC Children's Hospital Team was there for our daughter and our family for over a year through numerous in hospital stays. Dr, Eskandari was always available, 24/7-365 for any questions or medical needs. We were incredibly lucky to find Dr. Eskandari and his staff as they treated our daughter with the same love and care as we would have treated her ourselves. True to form, Dr. Eskandari and Ms. McCormack are still a part of our lives and have been the impetus for our daughter going to college and aspiring to a career in Healthcare Systems Management.

Dr. Eskandari is an exemplary human being, in general. Added to that, he's a brilliant surgeon with all of the passion & none of the ego. Yes, he's skilled in the field of neurosurgery like his peers. However, his personality and demeanor elevate him to the next level. He takes the time to answer any and all of your questions, no matter the hour. He never makes you feel as though you're a burden. He is kind and compassionate with a bedside manner not always seen amongst surgeons. Don't hesitate.
