Was riding a 100 mile ride and heart rate monitor went nuts. My primary care MD monitored me for 24hrs. Finding frequent V-tach. Referred to Dr. Challapalli scheduled me immediately for cardiac ablation due to v-tach. Four hours after the procedure I was running up and down the stairs. Four days later I was on the plane for a cycling trip to Slovenia. He gave me back my active life. This was 10 years ago and I remain eternally grateful as a 66 yr old still cycling maniac. ????

Dr. Challapalli does excellent job in explaining procedures, outcomes and options. I'd highly recommend him. Unfortunately his staff does not follow up with appointments that are required after a patient has been in the hospital. When the doctor requested a 2-3 wk follow-up the first available is more 6 wk out. They would. Only offer f/u with a nurse practitioner. There is not a cancellation list you have to just keep calling. What a joke!

I met him through the recommendation by my cardiologist. He took the time to explain what would be happening with my procedures. He made an excellent recommendation to another surgeon for the first phase of my ablation. He adjusted his schedule to allow a timely performance of my second procedure in Redding, Ca. His physician liason Judy is very responsive and engaged with solving problems or getting answers. I'm very happy with the entire experience, thank you!

Very professional and really understood my problems and took care of them. Thanks to him and his team I will be able to do all the physically challenging things I like to do instead of sitting/laying down all day so would not have another stroke! Dr. Challapalli and his team worked very hard at getting my heart to behave! I would recommend this Dr/Team to anyone! Leslie Moody

He is always extremely rushed during visits. He spends maybe two minutes maximum talking with me, and is in such a hurry that he doesn't even listen carefully enough to listen to the symptoms I have. I've had two doctors say that I should see a cardiologist, but he is always dismissive of my symptoms saying that nothing is wrong. My family doctor wanted me to have two tests done within two weeks. He refused to do one of the test and scheduled the other 12 weeks out. Incredibly infuriating.
