He has been my doctor for 20 years since a hospital stay where my high platelet count was first detected and I have always found him easy to talk to and helpful.

I would highly recommend Dr. Boccia. He saved me from unnecessary chemo recommended by another doctor. He listens to you and provide you with information that you can understand. His staff are professional and caring.

I now wonder whether his interest in personal gain outweighed treatment of his patients. Frequent meaningless appointments, recommendations for unnecessary in-house trials still leave a bitter taste in my mouth. What was truly shocking was his inability to read a medical report or his lack of awareness of the latest procedures and treatments for certain conditions.
