in Eagan, MN |
Dr. Sierra fixed my hip after a very poorly done scope and misdiagnosis by another doctor. Three other doctors missed the hip dysplasia diagnosis. My pain has greatly improved after surgery along with my range of motion. The only negative I would have to say is he always has a group of students with him and at times it can be hard to tell if he's talking to me or his students.

Couldn't understand why AVN causes pain. He chuckled and said " you shouldn't have pain, the bones dead" Good surgeon, horrible with patients!!
in St Cloud, MN |
Dr. Sierra replaced my hip and left my leg three (3) inches shorter than the other, left me with no flexibility in the hip, and left my femur mispositioned. The worse, is that he never had the professionalism to tell me the surgery had not turn out as expected. His professor did it for him. The fact that he works at Mayo doesn't mean he knows what he is doing. He has ruined my life completely. Now I can no shower, dress, cook, do my bed, do my laundry, travel, walk, or perform my job as before.

Very knowledgeable about hip conditions. Very professional staff also.
