Dr. Shu is AWFUL. I initially visited Sf women’s health for a general annual health visit (found Dr. Shu from my insurance providers listing of network) and with a general check up she’s fine. I came back the second time for Nexplanon extraction and putting in a new one and I ended up with horrible and disgusting blisters and scarring (see picture taken a month after my visit). Originally she told me to wait about a month before my next visit which is why I waited a month and thought the scarring was normal, but 4 of my other close friends have Nexplanon also and their scarring is MINIMAL, because they went to a doctor that is experienced and actually knows what he/she was doing. Dr. Shu is literally an unqualified clown and now I have these ugly scars forever. I went to a different OBGYN to take out the Nexplanon because I couldn’t feel it, which means it was inserted incorrectly and also because of the terrible scarring I decided to just take it out and get an IUD.

I have two beautiful children, ages 19 and 20. I was an infertile patient suffering from Endometriosis and fibroids when I met Dr. Shu in 1994. With medical assistance and hormonal therapy Dr. Shu got us pregnant. The first intrauterine insemination did not take but the second did. I will always remember the day my son was conceived. It was a beautiful Sunday that we met Dr. Shu at her office. We were both in good spitrts and Dr. Shu was calm and postive as always. I give Dr. Shu all the credit!
