Personable, but there doesn't seem to be an urgency in his care. Staff are courteous but some lack empathy. I would recommend on basis of his consult. I have yet to have Dr Chaer perform surgery at this time. I shall give a more detailed review after my surgery is completed.

I am sure Dr. Chaer is a competent doctor, but I would avoid him for anything that is not common. His beside manner is terrible and he is unavailable, which is frustrating when your PCP and Ortho both are clueless about your condition. He also failed to admit that his two surgeries didn't work. I had a carotid endarectomy surgery in Presbyterian Hospital. Dr Rabi Chaer was my surgeon. I am so appreciative of Dr. Chaer?s skill, knowledge, and sympathetic care during my hospitalization.
