Dr.Mirkin performed my fusion in 2007.He did a great job and I have had no complications. His staff was awesome and was very kind.
in St Louis, MO |
Horrible Doctor. Horrible experience. I second what everyone has said about his arrogant, condescending, demeaning, attitude. He stated "I'm a surgeon" to me as well when I was asking to go over my MRI I thought maybe he wanted me to stand up and clap for him or something. He didn't even look at me or spend any time learning anything about my case, or what I was there for. He made ridiculous assumptions, would not answer my questions, told me to go home and live my life, insulted me. Nvr go2him

Dr. Merkin performed a lumbar fusion and was one of the worst doctors I've ever meet . His bed side manners are poor, his willingness to listen to his patients is lacking. He miss placed a screw when he did my surgery and when I complained something wasn't right for months he ignored me. Finally got a reputable doctor to fix his mistake.

Dr. M lisrened to me, reviewed my films, examined me and told me I should not have surgery. I was relieved and happy for his honest opinion.

The doctor was extremely rude to me he behaved as though there wasn't an issue with my back at all and I have an MRI disc proving that there is I would never recommend this doctor to anyone

Dr Mirkin fixed my neck after two other doctors told me they could not help.

I would'nt even give him a half of a star..... He is Rude, and has the worst bedside manner i have EVER experienced. I would never NEVER recomend this Doctor to ANYONE... Do your homework... Do not settle to see this Doctor... He is not worth the time OR money-

Took our son to see Dr. Mirkin after he was referred by the Orthopaedic Surgeon because of pain that started in his ankle & was shooting up to his hip & back. Dr. Mirkin walked in & said, Your MRI looks fine, so why are you here? Didn't you read the sign on my door when you came in? I'm a Surgeon. There's nothing I can do for you. Our son explained again that he was following the Orthaepedic Doctors orders who referred him & Dr. Mirkin repeated, The note on the door states Surgeon & left

Does not listen. Hurries through exams and makes you feel tiny by the way he speaks to yo. If I ask a question he acts rude about it
in Saint Louis, MO |
Dr. Mirkin is rude pompous & condenscending. He is abrupt & acts like he's doing you a favor . He has a short temper, and if you misunderstand a question, he gets all ticked off and starts asking the SAME question LOUDER in quick repetition. His office is not clean. He has one exam room and NO bathroom. You have to walk through the back of his office, past his files to a hallway. The nurse stands in the hallway like you're going to steal something. He spent 7 min w/me n I need surgery.
