"Before entering private practice, Dr. Mirkin served in the United States Navy as Lieutenant Commander and is a veteran of Operation Desert Shield/Storm. He served as Staff Orthopaedic Surgeon of Long Beach Naval Hospital, Long Beach, Calif., and Naval Hospital Camp Lejeune, N. C. Dr. Mirkin completed his Fellowship in Spine Surgery at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, N. C."

Dr. Mirkin was a big disappointment after reading all of the positive reviews about him. He spent all of 5 minutes with me and didn’t even do a thorough physical exam. He was abrupt and I felt as though I was being blown off. I would not recommend him.

Dr.Mirkin performed my fusion in 2007.He did a great job and I have had no complications.His staff was awesome and was very kind.
