Care Philosophy

This content was provided by Dr. Kokinos "At South Bay Vascular Center and Vein Institute our goal is simple: to ensure the best possible outcomes in the safest and most comfortable environment.

For over 20 years Dr. Kokinos and her staff at South Bay Vascular Center and Vein Institute have helped tens of thousands of patients in the Silicon Valley get their lives back by successfully treating their leg swelling, circulatory and cosmetic vein issues. Dr Kokinos is recognized by her colleagues as a specialist in the treatment of leg swelling and May Thurners Syndrome as well as in the treatment of Peripheral Vascular Disease. To date, Dr Kokinos has successfully performed over 10,000 cosmetic vein procedures fixing varicose veins.

Our on-site, Accredited Ultrasound Laboratory and Angiography Suite are the first of their kind in the area. These core competencies allow our physicians to diagnose as well as to treat our patients in a single facility, without the need to travel between multiple locations...and that's why we are different.

As Vascular surgeons we have spent our entire careers training to help patients with circulation issues and are dedicated to treating both the symptoms of poor circulation (Leg Swelling, Ugly Varicose and Spider Veins, and Peripheral Vascular Disease) as well as the underlying causes of these circulatory issues. "

I've seen Dr. Kokinos one time when she took out stitches from my arm. She was very gentle as for the stitches were so tight, she maneuvered the tweezers, and was able to pull out the stitches, thank goodness no pain at all. Thank you Dr Kokinos.
