Dr. Liss has it all...expertise, understanding, friendliness, compassion. She is genuine; quickly makes one know that she cares. I know her staff love her and, from what I have observed from her patients over the years, they do, too??

I have been a patient of Dr. Liss for a number of years. She is an excellent doctor, who truly cares about her patients. She is very knowledgeable in both traditional and alternative medicine. She takes as long as you need during your appointment, which means you will wait for her, but she is definitely worth the wait. Her staff is also helpful and caring. Dr. Liss is also a very lovely person and seems to enjoy her work.

Office is HORRIBLE. Takes way too long to get an appointment. My wife mage an appointment to see the doctor because Liss would not order blood work without an office visit 1st. We called to confirm the visit and were told the appt was for blood work.....on an order that did not exist because she had no office visit! And My wife has been under Liss' "care" for years. Her staff doesn't even care. Completely unacceptable for a Manhattan physician. But then the doctor does not even respond to emails

Dr Liss is one of those rare Primary Care Physicians deeply schooled in Alternative/Holistic/Complimentary medicine. Yet she takes every form of insurance vs $$$ outofpocket! She spends huge amount of time with you as a patient, there is no rush. She's amazing with chronic fatigue, auto-immune, hormone, inflammatory type illnesses. One downside: you have to wait, she often runs even an hour late on your appointment time, because she's given other patients the same level of depth and attention

Dr. Liss is extremely compassionate and takes a holistic approach to care. She has overseen my medical care for about ten years now, including management and coordination of a weight loss surgery, providing urgent appointments and facilitating an emergency med. leave from work. Those complaining about the long wait are not accounting for the quality of time she spends with patients. She has spent over an hour with me and even remembers details like my profession &favorite workouts.

You have to wait months for an appointment and then you wait hours to be seen. There is also no way to book anything based on emergency need or even an emergency contact if she's not there for any reason. After 15 years, I'm leaving her office.

The front desk is very nice, but there is NO REASON for the doctor to be so late. You could wait for 3 hours--and 6 months-to see her. Why? Nothing special. make an appointment and then have to devote the whole day to waiting around for her. They say it is because she is spending lots of time with each patient; I haven't noticed her spending any more time with me than any other doctor. Twice I have been there and computers were broken; it took an hour just to get the thing up and running.
